Need to renew my membership. Now that everything in life is back in line I think there is a big f you post in my future. Working on the laundry room all day. Fell and busted my butt on the front walk a couple hours ago and I'm feeling that too. Think I may have messed up my foot. Cooking dinner now, dentist tomorrow and then picking up the car. My buddy couldn't get his enclosed race trailer free so I rented the hauler u haul trailer and I'll just drive slow to keep spray off the paint. Back to school Tuesday.

After another typical day in the office, came home to do some work in the back yard.

Started picking up loose scrap metal in the shed and putting it into a bin to recycle later. Not sure this was the best plan, as it may be too heavy for me to get into the EXT by myself :undecided:

IMG_20180111_173937.jpg

Now that I've got one section clear, started sweeping out the dirt, rat nest material, and other loose junk. Will be moving all the lawn equipment here this weekend out of the garage to make room for shelving, and a future rolling tool chest.
IMG_20180111_173947.jpg

Wheeled the trash bin out, and started tossing junk from the deck into it. Need to get that cleared out, so I can tear it down before the weather gets hot in the spring. The near front corner is sinking as you can tell, and it's getting to the point where the nails/bolts connecting it to the 2nd patio are starting to bend and/or come loose. There's some more engine parts, so added those to the scrap bin. Looks like it's going to take at least another full trash bin run to clear the rest of this crap. I'll have a ton of scrap lumber to use for later projects, that's for sure.

Finished off some leftovers for dinner, about to make a run to the grocery store to stock up on a few things before camping on the couch for the rest of the night watching TV.

Did some more work for my brother. Had to meet with him to take apart a compressor (120 gallon). Motor and pump had to come off to get it out of where it was stored and on to his truck.20180111_105509.jpg
Once it was in his shop it was a breeze to get it where we needed it. We put it on a pallet put some pads on the legs and bolted it down. I wired and pipped in the air lines and it's up and running now.

I had a foot and a half on the TB (parked for the winter). All gone. All that's left is the snow banks.

Just got done finishing up some odds and end my brother wanted me to do at his new shop.

I finished off the compressor yesterday but didn't get you guys a shot of that.20180112_133723.jpg

Today I had to finish off the charger for his fork lift.20180112_133845.jpg

And lastly change out all the shop lights to 4' ledS. His gotta save some money on that electrical bill somewhere so this was a good investment and the light output is great.20180112_133804.jpg
Just a pic of the disconnect box for the compressor.

Kicked off the weekend by making a little pocket change. Friend of mine was needing a TV, as the one that was gifted to her last week didn't work (wonder why it was free in the first place? :undecided:) So sold her my old 32" plasma, and hooked everything up, since this was her first TV in 5 years.

After pretty much blowing off the whole weekend to PS4, Netflix, munch, and chill, I decided to get off my ass and be productive today. Back to my never ending outbuilding project... Rolled the garbage and recycling bins in there and continued sorting stuff appropriately. Also decided to tackle the numerous wasp mud nests, cobwebs, and dead vines that had worked their way inside, and all the way up to the peak of the roof. Also noticed that one of the light banks was mounted, but wasn't wired up :weird:

IMG_20180115_132934.jpgIMG_20180115_132955.jpgIMG_20180115_133009.jpg

Got the bookshelf in the corner swept off, as well as the center shelf, and the couple of shelves in the opposite corner. Lots of rat activity there, which became quite evident when I started sweeping stuff. But it actually started looking like a place to put stuff, which was reassuring. Only bit left is the workbench, and its shelves. I piled up all the stuff that I wanted to keep from the initial run through, but I have a lot of sweeping and cleaning to do there.

IMG_20180115_142859.jpgIMG_20180115_142917.jpg

Took a break from the shed area to get some air, and went over to the deck to clear more junk off there. Noticed the roof separation is a little worse than I thought. Not only are the 2 sections pulling apart, but the ribs are starting to pull away from the frame on the far side. Should be able to get the remainder of the crap cleared by next weekend's trash day, so maybe that will get bumped up the priority list. Almost forgot... I found some buried treasure that got overlooked before. Couple jugs of paint thinner, a few unused paint brushes, a tube of zip ties, some blue refill chalk for a chalk line, and a back brace that as actually in better shape than the one I already had. (just had to shake the silverfish and spiders off of it)

IMG_20180115_150026.jpgIMG_20180115_152229.jpg

After all that was done, it was FINALLY time to move the lawn equipment out of the garage and into their new home. Will be nice to not have dead grass end up in the garage, even after I take the extra time to clean the mower and trimmer. Couldn't get a good pic due to where the sun was at the time, but the area where I kept those goodies before, (sitting on top of their boxes) is now begging for more shelving, or a tool chest. :undecided:

So the red truck now may be a street only machine. Rip englishtown. http://www.etownraceway.com
Just read the pdf, damn what a shame I've been going there for as long as I could remember. Swap meets are still a go for this year at least.

I guess it's to Wildwood we will go.

I'm pretty much done with this state now. One of the only things it had going for it. Pizza sucks, bagles suck. Only people who think this place is good are those who haven't had the real deal. And then there's the taxes. I'm just gonna stop now.

Just got out of my first day of classes. Kind of boring.

Nah, we need a land speed amount closed. 9 miles.
It's not that flat. And I think that would become a statewide problem. A mile you can detour.

Doing some work on a customer's party bike. One of the employees "fixed" the slipping drive chain from the electric motor. This ended up in a broken and stripped adjusting rod, bent & cracked motor bracket, stripped diff cover bolts, damaged sprocket, damaged chain....this has been kicking my ass all week. Removed the upper shock mounts so the diff could swing down so as to have access to drill out the broken bolts in the diff.IMG_20180118_062852.jpgIMG_20180116_172004.jpgIMG_20180106_130750692.jpgIMG_20180106_130754102.jpgIMG_20180106_130801135.jpgIMG_20180106_130858830_HDR.jpg

Actually yesterday since it's after midnight. Went on a snowmobile ride, first real one this season. Trails were rough, lots of snirt and snass and real bad icy patches. Anyway, halfway through the afternoon, my starter melted down when the relay stuck on and I got magic smoke. Being a 4 stroke, it doesn't have a pull start. I managed to use a tow strap I carry with me after cutting one end off, wrap it around the primary clutch and pull start it. Took a couple of tries but start she did. Rode it all the way back home, got it in the garage and started working on it. Thankfully I had a spare from a part out and a replacement relay. I also made an LED to light up when cranking so if the relay sticks again, I will see it.
