From 5 ft away they look good. Close up. Blah

Is that a backing that comes off? If not I think I would take them off.

 That's what I thought

My stick figure decal had that textured tape. It seemed to peel better than the regular stuff.

Started the plasti dip addiction!

Also did rear badges and emblems but forgot pics.

Looking good man. I wonder how the plasti dip on the door sills will last? If it wears well maybe I will do it. The chrome on mine is a "little" scratched up :lipsrsealed:

On a side note, the front end of your truck looks nice. What type of brush/grill guard is that? My wife has been mentioning for a while she would like one installed :wootwoot:

Thanks! I really like the grille now and my sills were trashed so this is way better.

The guard is a eBay special. If I was doing it again I'd buy a wag because it mounts much cleaner. Little more pricey though.

This was actually yesterday but eh

Dropped the spare for the first time. Didn't have any issues with getting it out. I have heard horror stories of people stranded on the side of the road and not being able to lower the spare. I took it out and put air in it.

My daughter was curious as to what I was doing and insisted on helping out  We checked the oil level, trans fluid level and I gave her a overview of all the major components of the car (suspension brakes etc). I think I see a little mechanic in the near future :wootwoot:

It`s never a bad idea for kids to know a bit about vehicles so they are not totally stranded or not taken for a ride when they have it fixed by someone else. My older son is totally into mechanics taking auto shop in school but his younger brother is not as inclined but he does know how to do some stuff.

Replaced my old flaking badge:

And put on my WeatherTech In-Channel vent visors. Kind of an odd installation. Rear visors had sticky tape on them, fronts didn't. Both front and rear each got one clip that fits under the weather stripping.

Driving it today. Will be tomorrow as well. I didn't want it to feel neglected or anything.

My radio has been working just fine now too. Go figure.

The beast turned over to 200k as I pulled into the gas station. Still as strong as ever!

Yep heres some close up pics. I got a cheap pair of fog lights and modified them so I could put standard high beam bulbs in the housing.
