well, i took the plunge and did some Plasti Dip for my grille's... front, fog, brake ducts, and rear valance...

and i'll be doing my rims.. just not "murdered" style... they make a Smoke color plasti Dip.. more or less grey to gun metal grey... when i can get that, then i'll do my rims... the black just doesnt look right on the imperial blue metalic.. IMO at least... i've emailed some companies that make the special colors.. still waiting to hear back...

thats one of the first things i thought of for the beaSSt.. i know the regular TB's dont have the grilles like we SSS folks do... but i also did it because my hitch was a little rusty as well... now its all nice and new again...

where the hell was i at when this s#!+ came out on the market.. i wouldve done this years ago...

Just a simple one today, installed a Stant 10511 locking fuel cap. Since I've recently become that guy that hassles the teenage neighbors for going past my house at 3 times the speed limit, I figured better safe than sorry

I sold the destroyed radiator and condenser and front sway bar from the totaled trailblazer to a metal salvage yard for 27 dollars. I then went to one of the local u pull it salvage yards and picked up a full set of the interior lights from on 02 and the center lights from an 05 for 11 dollars. not a bad day at all.

Removed amp and subs
Cleaned out the interior
Cleaned the throttle body(which subsequently cleared the engine light)
Detailed the engine compartment
Removed hid kit
Started shopping for the replacement

I will do I am prepared to get mine shortened if I need to after reading all you info on your swap I might have to ask one of the SS guys that are 2wd if they can measure there's so I can compare with mine

grill is new door had bad repair on it when I got it so just fixing the bad work from someone else

18.7 mpg there
20.7 mpg back
not bad considering about 2-1/2 weeks ago towed a half loaded
6 x 12 trailer from rock island , il and got 10.8 mpg
with a mix of cross and tail winds

Well, I got the oil change done on the beaSSt today, but she sure did fight me for having her parked for the winter.. in a BIIIIIIG way... I'm gonna post a thread about it, so stay tuned.....justa sad sad day...
