Damnit I forgot about winter coming up soon :frown: but the good thing is that it doesn't get as cold as it does up north.

We get ice over here in GA, like a nice, thick layer of ice, that no one can figure out how to drive on.

I think those people are everywhere! Nothing changes about how to drive in different conditions. But, how soon they forget . . .:duh:

it was amazing the number of wrecks it caused and how Mich the news continued to show vehicles not making it up overpasses. It was an excused day off school so I didn't care!

Built some sides for my trailer yesterday, started the paint job tonight. Old military style camo theme. Have one side (almost) done, and the base coat on the other side, hopefully I'll finish up in the morning, and can get some pics up

It is another beautiful day in central Missouri. So, I painted the inner grill satin black. I also started prep for some plasti dip on the wheels. I had wondered what to do for the bowties on the center caps. I did not want to leave them faded gold. I had though about painting them red for a color splash. But I wanted to keep the look "plain". So, I took some of the High Heat Silver I had used on the brakes and thought I'd give that a try...

I painted mine black...black and silver theme going on.

I crashed it :sadcry:

I actually clipped a Civic while trying to do a lane change from the left lane to the right lane when I was behind another waiting to turn left. I checked, let two other cars go by, signaled, pulled out and BLAM! I think he was motoring behind me when he did a fast lane change into the right lane. I am anal in checking behind and blind spots but this guy was moving. I was still found at fault but his car got the brunt of the damage. My bumper got ripped off and fender a bit damaged. Important thing that nobody was hurt and were both calm about it.

Swapped in the Skyjacker rear springs and re-installed the cargo cage divider.

I don't think the insurance will cover that . I was going to get it fixed for rust anyway (door bottoms, rear quarters, roof rack attachment points, rear hatch to be replaced) so I can probably get a good deal on the whole job. I will ask how much to shave the roof rack mount humps to see if I can get rid of it. The EXT's have ugly humps for the front mounting points. I liked the look without the rack except for those humps. :puke:

Some pics from the new trailer paint job I was talking about. Still not totally finished with it, but here's how it looks now:

Cody, looks good! I was looking at a trailer like that for camping. Gonna trying building a roof rack.

Love seeing what ideas spark from here.

Tuned up the old `95... Old worn out plugs in fact one of them was a delco and the other 5 were autolites, nasty wires, cruddy thermostat, brown (green) antifreeze... But the old 4.3 still runs like a clock. Only thing left is the bad front hubs.

Lol it is not quite as noticeable in person but I will do them when I do the back bumper pieces. I have to do the hub cover bowties as well!

Hmmm could it be used for calipers as well? Sorry for all the questions

I don't think it would take the heat.
