Been a busy couple of days! to my astonishment I found 4 of 6 wheel studs sheered clean off  so I fixed those up. No idea of how this happened, my only guess is over/under tightening. Changed the fuel filter on Tuesday as well as front and back differential fluids and threw in a couple chrome interior handles in the front that I got from the junkyard for $5 to replace the black textured plastic ones. Did oil today with Mobil 1 and seafoamed it.

Are you using wheel spacers/adapters?

took the beaSSt to a local motor/speed shop (turns out that i talk to the guys parents every Sunday... didn't even know that lol) so they could look at the motor before I take her to the dealership next week...

the guys busted out their stethoscope's and took a listen all over my motor... to their conclusion, something is definitely going on in/with cylinder #2.. without taking it apart, obviously they don't know for sure... but they said its definitely in the head and it could be anything from a broke spring, all the way to rockers needing to be adjusted... but they said its not very aggressive and that other things shouldn't be damaged.. which is what i was worried about with the ticking going on...

so, its off to the dealership Monday or Tuesday, and then shes parked for the winter... goodies to come for her return next year (if i keep her of course )

So, sounds like worst case scenario they slap a new head on it and call it a day. That's not too bad.

Nope. Bone stock, just had a whole brake job including lines and all new suspension but I dont think there's a connection.

If the wheels were re installed using an air powered impact gun that might be the culprit. I have had that happen on a previous vehicle.

Yea pretty much, unless they decide to fix it when they find out what's wrong.. I just hope that's it.. if it is, I think its pretty safe to say that I'm keepin her lol..

Cleaned up a couple little spots on the frame that had surface rust with some rust converter then sprayed the whole frame a nice matte black. Also, gassed up yesterday to the tippy top and no fumes or leaks from the new pump seal.

Sprayed some PB Blaster on the lower ball joints and axle nuts. Because the LBJ's are getting replaced in the AM. :wootwoot: After my coffee.

MOOG K6663 from Amazon. $90 for the pair but ended up being $98 shipped because I had to add $4 each for next day shiping since I wasn't paying attention to the calendar. :hissyfit:

They need to be replaced a few months ago, I cannot wait any longer. Unless I want an unwelcome fender flare.

Installed plug and play e-fan kit! The little bit of driving I did today I did notice a little bit more pep when I stepped on it. I will keep everyone posted on MPG gains.

Time to buy a gallon of thinner and a pack of microfibers. Trust me I've had to strip my tail lights twice now and it isn't fun but that's the only way you're guna get it off without ruining the condition of the lights.

I would guess problems from the cops. I was fine for over 6 months, then 1 cop finally noticed my car and pulled me over 4 times within 1 week. Luckily no tickets but I had to take it off and respray it lighter.

Rub some brake fluid on it, I heard that works really well on Niteshades.

Yeah I like the look but I rushed it the first time, so going to redo them and take my time. I'll try the brake fluid, tried gasoline but didn't work. Any suggestions on what grade sandpaper in should use to get out the scratches that I'm making..?

Finally put my decals in!

I have a liftMeister decal, but it has Marks Gmail address on it. Anyone know if there are newer decals or if I should just cut off the email address before putting them on?

Bilstein HD installed up front, new air filter and replaced the rear washer fluid pump because it was cracked and leaked out all the fluid. It drives so much better with the new shocks all around! Really appreciate my dads help with all this stuff!

With temps in the low 70's I thought I would perform some "Spring cleaning"

Well, have some else do the cleaning. After all, I didn't drop all the crumbs.

He was riding his tryke around and with all the acorns falling at terminal velocity....he doens't want to take his helmet off...lol.

Hitting all 4 doors with the Dynomat Extreme. Been sitting in the basement for 3 years from when I did the LOML's stereo, may as well put it to use.

Thought I'd try out duplicolor fabric paint/dye to go with a different color scheme and update interior. Very pleased how the product looked and worked, doing over my lexus carpets tomorrow.

I heard, on the OS, that it rubs/wears off after a while, especially on the high contact areas. Keep us posted on how well it holds up for you.
