Had my Fantasy Draft early this morning. They did Auto due to many people not being around this past Sunday when it was originally supposed to be. Rather looking forward to my team this year. I don't usually play Fantasy Football, but a family member of mine set it up and it was only $20 to get it, so I said "why not."

Working today. I am coaching a 14u travel baseball team next summer so I have my team coming in to my baseball academy tonight for a little batting practice.

I am also getting rid of DirecTV and switching to DISH tomorrow so gonna have to clear some DVR space tonight before I lose all those shows.

2 more days of cube life until a nice long weekend. Trying to make plans with people, seeing if they are free. Looks like it will be a smaller group for UFC Saturday than normal, and people are indecisive about having a beach day.

In between doing work, I'm researching water cooling solutions for desktops. I have a small system in my bedroom PC, thinking about adding a small one to my HTPC as well. IT guy at work put out some stuff they are getting rid of yesterday, so I snagged a large case, video card used by one of the graphics guys, and a BD burner.

Finished swapping the guts of my HTPC into the new case this morning with the BD burner. The new (to me) case had an Intel motherboard and CPU but no RAM. Gonna give those to a buddy later, so he can upgrade his stuff for the price of some new memory.

Also hooked up some honey garlic chicken in the crock pot before work, whole crib was smelling like garlic within 15 minutes So we'll see what happens when I walk in the door later this afternoon. Should be interesting.

No, not that one, it had too much stuff that I didn't have on hand already.

This one was only soy sauce, ketchup, honey, minced garlic, and dried basil (didn't have this, and didn't find it at the store, so skipped it) When I first put it all into a bowl, I started thinking "This is some kids would mix up if they were let loose in the kitchen without supervision!!" But as I started mixing it, it started to smell really good.

Going to try to get this extra peerless 2300 back together and swap the one in the tractor which has an input bearing noise.




These bearings are at the top of the case and are always spinning so oil supply is the deal breaker. I figure even though I haven't tried this trans yet I might as well change these input bearings also just for some future preventive maint.




Once back together, the whole assembly will slide in on the hitch plate, 3 bolts each side...slick.

Takes longer to release the cotter pin on top the brake lever than it does to slide the unit out....but still a nice design.

Last day of the work week. Get Saturday and Sunday off, but might have to work the holiday. 8 hrs of OT is ok by me

Wife is taking the TB to NC this weekend again, was hoping to finish the fogs, but that will have to wait. Local tire shop is having a buy 2 get 2 free tire sale on the Coopers I want. Need some new rubber for the TB's winter wheels. Might try to swing in Saturday.

+4 on cube life. My web development project is crawling along (stupid learning curve ) but I'd rather be doing other stuff. A certain member who shall remain nameless is poking my mod bug. Haven't decided if this is good or bad yet.

My cousin flies in from Brooklyn today, for a couple of days on a scouting trip before he moves his family down here. So we're gonna try and set something up while he's in town. I'm thinking go somewhere to watch the NFL season kickoff tomorrow night, and have a couple of drinks.

With the rain today, just hung out at home with my little guy. Now I'm at work. My baseball academy runs a fall baseball league for high school players and it looks like it'll get cancelled...again. We have only been playing for about a week, and have already had 3 friggin rain outs. Not happy because I know have to reschedule them for later in October, and it starts to get colder that time of year and makes it no fun to sit out there and freeze. Only good thing about that is my little AM/FM radio that I have to listen the Blackhawks that time of year.

Made it just fine! Pulled it great and cruised along at 75 in OD and never downshifted. Pretty flat drive the whole way.
