One I just captured in the wild here in Motown. Why do folks think blue wheels make a car look good? :confused:

It looks even worse than usual when they're hubcaps like this one.

Kid's first mod? I was hoping to see blue wheels, not painted hubcaps with a half can of old paint. Looks like he painted them on the car too.

So ugly did not notice the TB behind it.

you just never know with some people. They have some options, turn signal mirrors, fogs, two-tone, but they're missing a bunch of other stuff, like XM and RainSense. Since it's not FULLY loaded, who's to say?

Probably they were badges taken off a Toyota or something from the U-Pull-It yard.

You know, I'm not one to advocate for the lowering of trucks, especially an old Binder, but if you'd get rid of that fugly stack it wouldn't be too bad.

The rust orange paint and the stack on the side throw the entire thing off. I like the wheels with the slammed body, that paint color just does not do it for me.

I love that paint. Would do mine like that if money were no issue.

That stack...it fits to me. I could be fine without but it doesn't bother me. I would not have installed but not sure I would pull it off.

Then again, LT package with two-tone and the body-colored billet.... it probably is a 4x4 in reality, but I've seen stuff make ludicrous claims. V8 badges on an earlier non-EXT TrailBlazer, that was a good one. :yes:

It could be one of those that looks awesome in person. I have seen cars in pictures that look horrible in real life, but look sweet in pictures.

I think a deep blue or metallic silver would set that truck off.

And a bit less "bling bling." I don't understand the idea behind a "rusty" body, a black matte stack, and super-chrome rims. It just doesn't add up. The black and rust at least get along.

Something about 20+" rims all shined up just doesn't say "classic workhorse" to me.

Hmm, that's where I'd have to disagree, I just don't see cool colors doing it for this particular truck. Red, maybe yellow, maybe even orange, but I just don't know... I actually think the rusty look on this particular truck is really awesome.

Real patina outdoes faked every time. Gives it real character. At that rate, should have just left the thing all-original.

Unless they cleared straight over the rust, which to me would be pretty sweet. I love a good rat rod.

Ok I have to admit something now, looking at the picture on the 17" laptop screen, vs the screen on the S4. The truck looks a lot better. The stack still seems out of place, but seeing some of the detail in the paint changes my opinion.

Then you would love Torque Fest. Seems to me to be a Midwest thing, it was amazing. They allowed cars I believe up to 1965, but the real showcase were pre-1949, and they had rat rods there, too.

No, don't really love it, but different nonetheless. At least it is a bit original. I wonder how the Falcon gets away with something blocking the driver's view (unless it comes off when it's being driven).
And for a second, I thought that Bumble Bee had a satellite antenna mounted to it.

Actually it is. There are some stores and movie theaters down here that have handicapped spots sideways like that. I assume for wheel chair accessibility, or vehicles with wheel chair ramps.
