Replaced my power steering pump for the second time in a year. I changed it last year as it was making the usual whining noise of a dying pump. Replaced it with a Cardone reman, still did the noise but not as bad. Noise was still annoying the crap out of me so I replaced it with an ACDelco reman. Well guess what? It still makes the same damn whine but again, a little less loud. :hissyfit:

That's an easy fix, you need a louder stereo

well looks like I wont be doing a reso delete because every damn shop I go to doesn't do it or will not do it for me because of laws or whatever (kind of stupid). So looks like I will just add a tip to the end of the reso and call it a day

Get the saw zaw out and just cut it off. Then drive into the shop and ask them to add a bit of pipe and a tip to it. Once it is gone what are they going to say?

Even if they don't weld it on you can always get a bolt on one.

Only reason I want a shop is so they can do the welding so it prevents future exhaust leaks and all. Plus they will do a clean job (I hope)

I told them its a reso number of times, I went to another shop and they wanted $125 to cut it off and add a pipe and some simple tip. Even if I bring it without the reso same price to do the welding job! how stupid :frown:

Tuffy wanted $70 at the time which was a bit much but it is starting to sound better lol

Not online at the moment. They will be in my build thread before next week.

I have brackets that are sort of shaped like a Z but with right angles. They are mounted directly to the bumper using the two mounting bolts already holding your bumper in place. The bar between is a 1/2 aluminium bar. I measured in from the lamps an equal distance to mount to fill a void in front beam disbursement.

All the lights on my truck are 55w 5000k HIDs with the exception of the fogs, those are 35w's.

Yesterday I added 3 inch bolts because I had some minor bounce in the bar. Thinking about it now, I would of made this mounting down front the hood and radiator support. However the brackets I have are to sort to cover the distance.

I don't plan on buying a bumper till Christmas, but I needed these for now. So this works.

Hope that answers your question.

After I get done tomorrow, I'm installing the new belt I bought today.

Well I guess since I finished at 4 this morning. I replaced my water pump in the middle of a church parking lot.

Painted one of my OLD door badges and stuck it on the hatch in the oem spot. Man it looks good. (Besides the hard water spots).
