Well there ya go, I did take it out of the garage to go get the windshield changed. Kinda hot today so I look at the outside temp to see just how hot and it says 16:crazy:its more list 26-27. So being as I took it out, just like I said something else will go wrong :hissyfit:and it did:hissyfit:guess I jinxed myself.

I seem to recall this being a simple fix of cleaning the sensor or the connector the sensor plugs in to... I don't remember exactly as I don't have that feature on mine, but I remember reading about it.

Washed, waxed and buffed. Did my dad's Tundra and my mom's S-80 also. 6 1/2 hours I hurt everywhere. LOL. Did my sisters Neon and the tractor on Tuesday. Just the boss' Aveo left to do now.

See my thread "I could do a jig"

Video is there too.

I told everyone if my gas mileage once calculated was over 14 MPG's I would do a video of me doing a jig...

My gas mileage after calculating it was 15.22 MPG's city lol

No, he didn't throw a dollar at me, but then again I wouldn't be that cheap, especially after all the money I put into that damn thing in 4 months

Loaded up the truck for the move, have it packed to the roof. Also bought a hitch mounted cargo rack from a friend at work, pretty nice I got the Rola water proof bag, a pro series 60" x 24" 500# rack. Now I need to get a folding adapter so I can flip it up when its not loaded.

With the LEDs dieing on the license plate bulbs I replaced them with the originals which I saved. Of course one decided to burn out. So back out there with a screwdriver to put a new one in. Need to order new LEDs.

Replaced my radiator and core support, and added e fans from a Chrysler Concord. The fans install is much easier when the clutch isn't electronically controlled. Took me a few hours and less than $100. Now the truck is quieter and more smooth running than the tb was.

The brakes look good. Just be sure you do the recommended burn-in procedure. And try not to get sick in the process. The burn-in process made me dizzy as hell

The directions say moderate 50-10mph stops, but not spinning in circles when doing so :raspberry:

My problem was the repeated accelerate/stop cycle while also keeping an eye on the speedometer.

The process does work though, Truck stops great

Ok..I can finally post this because I ended up having to redo it after sears ruined it putting new rubber on. I plasti dipped the stock wheels as well as the large dash panel. Want to do more trim and dash pieces next but not sure how to get a few off. Definitely need to clean it but with 3 kids not always easy. View attachment 21058

Let's see new battery arrived. Picked up new hose this morning. Awaiting word on upgraded battery terminal ends.

Other repair parts in inventory.

Now I need the weather to be good enough to install all new parts.

Got sick and tired of my memory seats only working when they wanted to. So we took a peek at the DDM and found that the wires and connector which goes from the memory seat module to the DDM was loose, and that a possible plastic lip inside the door handle was rubbing the connector and wires causing it to come out of the DDM slightly. So I decided to use electrical tape to tape everything down and tried to make it more stable. Now it's a waiting game to see if it will continue working. It works great right now, but the long run will be a different story.

Picked it up from the dealership with a fixed window, new fluids in the diffs and the t-case, and a couple of new serpentine belts.

Replacement interior parts on their way, probably a project for me to do next weekend.

Good luck!!! I'm already jealous btw lol If I didn't have so many kids to cart around on a daily basis....I would have gotten an SS to begin with.

Excited to see what tomorrow brings for you
