Best $6 mod ever. LED strips installed and hooked up to the parking lights.
How do they look compared to when the headlights are on?

Ordered online and picked up in store. After discount it was $32.

Had to also pickup a 21mm wrench but now I'll be ready when the driver's side begins to complain.
Why is it that everything goes on the passenger side?

blew my tranny :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit:

The tranny was slowly slipping in D or 3 when I would go WOT. I would have to let off the gas and then it would shift. Under normal driving conditions, the tranny acts fine. Fast track to yesterday, a late 90's Dodge Durango lines up next me at a light revving his motor the whole time. Well I'm sure you can all guess what happened next...

long story short, don't try and race when you have a slipping tranny :rotfl: I lost by about 5 car lengths  :frown:

well depending on the cause and failed parts, I will just rebuild it and if I can get away with/afford maybe like a sonnax performance kit, then i'll have them throw that in there to replace the worn parts. I've been in talks with folks on ssowners and it seems like a booster pump, some kind of spring, & something else could be the cause. the trans wouldn't have to be dropped to get to those parts (except the booster pump) so I might get lucky with labor as well...

first thing is first. I have to find a reputable transmission ship because I am not going to the dealer for this :rotfl:

Vette servos, billet shafts, and a shift kit would probably all you need if you have the cash flow for it.

yea, the parts are rather cheap, it's the damn labor that will eat me up because while I turn wrenches on my own vehicles, I don't know a damn thing about trannies lol

Discovered that my 200k mile original fan clutch is shot. AC was blowing warm and kept cycling and I could stop my fan with my thumb with barely any pressure at all.

OK then.

I may just let it go for a little while, but if/when I replace the clutch I'll put a new water pump in it. Don't want to do the job twice and that pump is original too.

Checked out my failing LEDs and the problem seems to be the LEDs themselves. Contacted Ebay seller and he shipped out replacements free of charge
Good customer service, gotta love that. Which ones were acting up on you?
