Looks sweet. I would tint the front windows and maybe upgrade to some LED tailights. I believe BoTieSS has the same IPCW bermuda black tails that I have and they look sweet on his since he used Night Shade on them. I have yet to bring myself to Night Shade my tails or 3rd brake light. If I could get a glossy finish then I might. I did night shade my rear reflectors, but they do not have a glossy finish to them.

Yea i really like the stripe look of the LEDs in the bermuda tails when they're tinted

Paid a guy I work with $10 for a SS shifter :wootwoot: he had in his 08 TB LT (deracked with SS bumpers and rims). He sold it to a dealer with less than 3,000 miles on it

Before (Yes, I know my truck needs a good detail)

Put new front wipers on the Voy. Went with 24 inch on the driver side for a little more cleared area.

Looks good! Same one I have. I had to replace mine at around 85,000 miles because the button stopped working properly. I had to hit it with the palm of my hand so I could shift out of park. Definitely a nice upgrade.

Someone on the forum had switches installed where the factory fog light switch would be. I would like to know how to go about doing that. I took it apart today and it is a box. There is no panel to mount a switch. Do I need to open the box and install a switch inside it??

Yes, there's plenty of room inside, just open it up

Installed Bosch icon wiper blades and did the DIY tranny flush. Tranny took longer than it should cause that bastard seal for the trans filter came out with the old filter. God what a PITA it was to get the new one in.

something is knocking... think its a loose tc bolt (hope its a loose tc bolt )

i've spun a bearing before so i'm pretty sure its not that, sounds like a spoon hitting a thin pan, not to mention oil pressure is fine so...

I feel your pain Jimmy... my logic is the same way with my issues right now.. total different sound than my spun bearing...

Just got off the phone with the dealership about my motor ticking... and right now they think Its a collapsed lifter.. so they took the heads off and are goin from there :sadcry:

Edit: and we don't even race ours Jarrod :rotfl:... the SS' just seems really weak lately compared to what's out there... whether its stock form, slightly modded, to heavily modded, most of them are breaking down in one way shape or form...lot of horror stories on ssowners right now... and I can only speak for mine, but the beaSSt hasn't seen a race track in over 2 years now.. and she's still taken a s#!+ on me...

meh. fords DOHC v8s? no thank you! you think those will give you less problems?

hemi srt8 engines are pretty much neck-and-neck with lsx hp/ci wise, no factory supercharger options until next year sometime, and GM has beaten them to the punch with DI. gm's gen5 will really put the heat on the old hemi, no doubt about that.

no pain here, I was hoping to put off yanking my engine until the wintertime for some modding :undecided: but oh well if it has to come out now it will

You have a much more care free attitude then I do towards my truck, because i have alot of pain :rotfl: I wish I had your funds and care free/forgiving attitude towards these trucks :rotfl:... I probably would've had a forged motor by now... but I was referring to more in stock forms across the platforms..

With any platform im sure they have their respective problems... Ive just never experienced so many with any one vehicle I've ever owned and in stock form at that... first motor.. ok, more then likely my fault... but 2nd, 3rd, & 4th... and the whole irony of the situation is most are worried about the trannies failing

I should just trade mine in on a fresh one with the original untouched motor

Me thinks I need to buy a spare headlight switch soon....is there enough room inside to install a normal toggle switch?

Like the one in this pic

I believe it would fit in there. Might be a bit tight.

Haha i've only had experience with metallic silver and after i touched up and wet sanded i couldnt see anything and you dont see fine scratches like black. Maybe on the bigger fixes its not as good
But minor work from what i've seen is a lot easier than black

give it a few years. the silver will start to fade. the guy I got this new voy from fixed up a quarter panel and its like a dark weird grey now. my black one I never had to touch up. I guess it all depends on the paint. i think he used the paint from canadian tire to color match (dupli color) or something along those lines.

I had to moved the Habs logo to the other side after the rear wiper wore part of the decal away. The decal was crappy anyways as it had started to fade. :hissyfit:

Updated liftglass decal photo.

As for today, left it in the driveway to get a natural wash! AKA - rain, :frown:.

Got inspected today....

Didn't pass because: need new rear inner brake pads... apparently driving around with the brake backing plates trimmed off dramatically reduces the life of the rear brakes. Also where my exhaust tip fell off, the exhaust does not exit outside of the vehicle, so I need a new one put on, and a new bulb for my HID Fog that stopped firing. Overall, not to shabby.

Also, had my mirror caps done over in sharpie art by an artist friend of mine. Painted the brake calipers red while I had the wheels off.

The light gold wheels look good . Do you by chance have a close up pic of the mirror covers?

Got the call today from my mechanic. He was able to get that one inch of broken bolt out of the furthest hole in the e manifold. Cost is 800:tequila: I guess that isn't too bad considering some of the horror stories I've read. I got new bolts, gasket, tranny flush & tow. I guess all thats left is drive train fluids & getting a few inches of lift when the funds are squared up...

When I completely removed my roof rack, I did notice a lot less wind noise when driving on the highway. Not to mention it improved the overall look of my TB

I drove the beaSSt home from the dealership today with the new crate motor purring like a kitten... only time will tell to see if the war was won... gonna drive her 500 miles, then get an oil change on her and look for any metal in the oil...

im making a thread now with all the pix of the new goodies under the hood...

Congrats, and about bloody time!

For me, not today, but last Thursday/Friday. Hooked the trailer up to it, loaded up my ATV's, went up to where I cant even get cell phone reception, and tore up the country side!! Was a blast. Then realized that I need a new ATV. My wifes 150 has more pep than my 250. And a CanAm 1000 is screaming my name!!
