Heck no, not in that condition. Looks like it has been sitting for years.

Calipers and rear deflectors will be next....Not sure if I like the pink yet or not.
And Done for now....

Hey Voymom, I like the pink you got happening there, looks good! Here's a pic I took and posted last week, not sure if you saw it. The front GMC was flat black but he did the back one pink along with a letter removal. He also had a pink Harley logo. Maybe was his wife's truck.....I hope

The ONLY reason why I like that is because the pink ENVY on the back of that voy happen's to be my dogs name lol We named her Envy, since it is closely related to Envoy...yeah I know, a bit obsessed

On a side note, I took the ol' boy out for a wash, the pink is kind of growing on me a bit. I don't plan on going nuts with it, but just accenting it. The best thing about it all is that once I get tired of the pink, I can choose a different color to go with lol, I just better hurry up and decide which color I want before I do my interior swap....I will be adding the accent color inside as well, and hopefully I can get a pink or whatever color sub box to match. I haven't been on in a while, but I have some BIG plans coming a head soon :lipsrsealed:

Dunno why but I tinted these today...

New vs. Old

I think the only noise now is a ting/ping from the exhaust somewhere. If I put my foot on the resonator and apply a lil pressure the ting/ping goes away. I wonder what it is? On the other site trying find a noise, Decembersend had asked the question "Does the noise go away when you put your foot on the tailpipe/resonator?" The thread didn't really go any further and I don't know where he was going with that question.

You need to do the trash can delete. My Bravada has the same problem wth the resonator, loose innards. The baffles inside have cracked off of their moorings and are rattling around. If it is only a little noise then some are still holding. I pounded the bottom of the resonator up to squeeze on the pieces inside and it made it alot better. Mine was really rattling all the time but now it is just a little bit.

Drove mine to the grocery this morning and came out to see a woman checking out my truck and just looking amazed. As I walked up she took off and I saw her get into a new stock jeep. I really can't blame her for being envious.

A little research and found these!!
Gmc acadia 18" center caps that will be a direct fit onto the SS rims
Part #9597360

Gonna go to my local stealership and see how much they cost

Today I gutted the interior of my other GMT. I have a lot of work to do over the next few days.

Some of the things being done/installed
-second skin entire interior
-install dei lock actuators (didn't come with power locks)
-rockford fosgate power comps in front doors
-rockford fosgate power t400-2 for fronts
-rockford fosgate p3 shallows in q logic truck boxes
-rockford fosgate p500-1 for woofers and peq
-sub amp on/off switch

I also found a few bucks worth of corroded coins which was very cool and hip.:wootwoot:

Good luck with the second skin lol, watch your fingers the edges will get ya. My truck looked like that 2 weeks after I bought it

Alright dude. You stirred my curiosity. Drove several hours, through a training ground for the military, and you are at a camp?

Doing what for whom may I respectfully ask?

Nothing special, I work for a company called Paladin Security and I am posted at a shut down work camp watching over it for the next 3 weeks. Mostly here for fire and theft protection. Part of the route here took me through the military area. Not sure how well you know canada but there are a couple large military bases here in alberta. Camp Wainwright and Cfb Cold Lake. The one I passed through today was Camp Wainwright.

I don't plan on it but that stretch of road had me wondering lol

I participated in a month long exercise at CFB Wainwright back in the early 90's...I was detailed as one of the guards to ride the train from Ft. Knox (no gold) to there Canada. I was a forward observer in an artillery battery assigned to the 194th SAB. Wainwright was no joke. 75 degrees one day, and 2 feet of snow the next night. Best thing out there was visiting the CA's field canteen....beer.

Oh yeah and I fixed my front bumper a little.

Started another round of troubleshooting why my dome light fuse keeps blowing. Disconnected my scuff plate LEDs, thinking one of the wires got pinched going under the weather seals. Nope not it. Disconnected my front seat dome connector, since that was the only thing I've really messed with in the past year. All the others lit up fine, no blown fuses. So something in one of those panels ain't right (although they were fine on my bench tester power supply )

Random directional change... Can anybody tell me what this connector is for in the driver's side B pillar? At fist I thought for a side airbag, but I believe those connectors are yellow. Maybe cabin temp sensor connector for the digial HVACs? :undecided:

Nice! If im not mistaken cfb wainwright is a popular training base due to the weather extremes

Took the rear driver side brake apart again and wire brushed the caliper bracket and the rotor edge. No more scraping noise now.

went out and had a final fun day with my TB as i took all her mods off of her and traded her in for a new car :frown:

NICE TRUCK MAN:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

For the SS
Belltech front and rear kit ordered no more AIR!

Cursed the non off road friendly tires.....
