I was just doing some grocery shopping for my mom to make dinner and this guy waved me down and told me he had a voy SLT in black also and asked how much it cost to re-paint my car hahaha i just told him i just finished waxing and its the original paint.. I showed him the turtle wax blackbox set and then he continued to browse the voy, complimenting on the LEDs and side mouldings and on and on. Felt really good to get a compliment from someone who has the same truck in real life  i told him i did everything pretty much myself
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART...... I TOLD HIM ABOUT OUR SITE!!!! And told him how everything he'll ever want or need to know is on here, so hopefully we'll be getting a new member soon

This is what he saw lol

Btw DnD, i was looking for a pic of my truck without the envoy emblem on the rear and couldnt find a decent one so i'll take another one when i get a chance

Now I have to figure out where and why I hear metal clunking/banging/swinging/making noise on the rear drivers side when I go down a hill or hit a bump. It isn't the same noise that the end links make, so I doubt it's that. Just gotta find time to jack up the ass end and crawl under it. Hopefully I can take a peek before it rains.

David's truck was doing the same thing, it as the lower panhard bar bolt. which happens to be on the rear driver side. tightened it up and the noise went away.

Thanks Jimmy! I will give that a look. I tried to recreate the noise, but we all know how that goes lol

Wheres he been lately? Haven't heard/seen (?) much outa him lately

well you noticed I said he "was" an auto body collision tech... he finally got the call for his air traffic controller position, so he moved to Oklahoma for 3 months for his training, then came back to Ohio and now works at his designated ATC center.. he also has a daughter now... so combine the career move and having a family now, he just doesn't browse the forums like he used to...

I'll have to check mine. I've been having a thunk at times that has been eluding me.

My truck is making the same noise on the same side in the rear also.... Its really annoying and i've been looking forever to find out what it is.
I already changed the sway bar links and they're super tight still so its not that either
I would appreciate it if when you find out you let me know and i'll do the same if i figure it out  teamwork!!

Same here! have a clunking sound in the front! I have no clue what it is.

tried again to get it running without the turbo still and no luck. there are times I think twice about having attempted this turbo build
(now is one of those times...):worried: just gotta keep working on it

When there's a will, theres a way

And when you're done and the turbo is in you can tell all the other non turbo'd GMTs

Lol, bring a drying towel too cuz the mist of Niagara Falls always rains on the parkway :raspberry:

Drove it to work. I wish i could afford to commute with it, cause I do love driving it.

Stretched the legs on the interstate for first time in awhile...

Stretching its legs makes it pretty thirsty...

Got the office building on my roof rack. Have to park it in the surface lot cause it won't quite fit in the parking garage these days...

Vht'd the reverse light reflectors and redid the mirror covers first by sanding this time so no texture
