I like that version. Mart sent me 2, I f:lipsrsealed:ked up the first on (put it on crooked) and the other (the one I kept) was missing the . (dot) so I cut off the com.

Here's the 1 I didn't use.

I found them on craigslist! The dude had 500obo. I didn't want to insult him with a low ball because they're worth 500. But he said try me. I offered 250, he said 300 and I'll bring them to you!!!

For those of you that have done this, what did you use to clean-up the glass after the handle was removed?

well the beaSSt finally got a new battery... ended up going to the dealer and getting a OEM Delco... my cost (since my father works there) was $85... can't beat that anywhere else... plus its got an extra 150 cca amps over my factory one that just took a dump on me.. not bad though... factory battery lasted exactly 6 years and 3 months...

New drilled and slotted rotors and pads installed. I didn't realize how bad my brakes really were before...

Don't mind the brake calipers, I REALLY need to repaint them.

I really like that silver color, it contrasts really nicely with the black ss rims

Did some detailing in the interior tonight....looks a hell of a lot better then it did during the winter lol. Been working on detailing off and on over the past week...managed to get rid of a few stains in the carpet from previous owners, still have some to deal with. Def gonna order a set of weathertech digital fit mats soon though.

Took Phantom back to the guy who painted him.....he will be going back in mid June to get the orange peel fixed, and the green marks where someone ran into the rear panel, plus the scratch marks on the hood are getting fixed too.

Now I have to figure out where and why I hear metal clunking/banging/swinging/making noise on the rear drivers side when I go down a hill or hit a bump. It isn't the same noise that the end links make, so I doubt it's that. Just gotta find time to jack up the ass end and crawl under it. Hopefully I can take a peek before it rains.

Finally got around to completing the "Big 3", sadly I think my lights dim more now than before :undecided: I guess it is time to upgrade to a capacitor.

You have made it this far, just need to sprint to the finish! We are all pulling for you and cannot wait to hear the turbo spool up!

i notice you are bypassing the current sensor on the ground. because of this, the ecm can't "detect" the load on the battery and is probably not kicking on the alt to full power. you should consider fixing this.

gotta check your fuel and spark bro. don't know why you assumed it was an ecu issue.

I was not sure which route to take. I have read that it makes no difference to bypass current sensor, but what you are saying makes sense. I will have to look into what I need to do to incorporate the new ground to the sensor. Thanks for the heads up.

cram as much wire as you can in the sensor and screw it to the bolt on your fender in the far right of that pic. Then tie all your grounds to that point instead of the battery.

I appreciate the heads up. I will have to check out my wiring tomorrow. Hopefully that will save me from needing a capacitor.

Fixed my liftgate glass release. It was so rusted and stiff I'm surprised that it had actually been working for as long as it did. The main latch was about ready to seize up and the glass lockout mechanism was so seized I couldn't even move it without pliers. Got it cleaned up and moving freely, but it is rusty enough (like the rest of the truck) that I wonder how long it will be before it seizes again. Oh well, at least it works for now.

My truck is making the same noise on the same side in the rear also.... Its really annoying and i've been looking forever to find out what it is.
I already changed the sway bar links and they're super tight still so its not that either
I would appreciate it if when you find out you let me know and i'll do the same if i figure it out  teamwork!!
