Finally after almost a month of waiting, All my lights showed up amoungst other odds and ends...

Upgraded the HID's to LED's in the beaSSt, and upgraded my factory HID's in the daily with a higher temp (6000k) bulb. Got a Camaro SS emblem for my grille, and updated the switchbacks and fogs to match the new LED's...I received the last piece of the puzzle for the complete overhaul of a project that I'll post later about.

Bunch of goodies for my living room TV rewiring project.
  • 25' length of 2.5" flexible conduit (which is some BS, I thought it was gonna be 2.5" OD, but it's more like 2.75" ID :hissyfit:)
  • 50' single plug electrical extension cord
  • 50' SPDIF optical audio cord
  • 50' pair of HDMI cables
  • 5 pack of cable management grommets (that are going back since the OD fits inside the conduit completely :hahano: )

20200513_142323.jpg

Ordered the conduit from home depot (wasn't available in store), and it really seems like a little much for what I needed. Looked online again at smaller options and quickly realized why I went with this one, everything else costs WAY more than this does for whatever reason. 2" would have probably been best so connectors didn't get wedged anywhere, but as long as I get the right grommet to go into the ceiling, it really shouldn't get noticed once finished. 🤞

Still need to see if the bundled up speaker wires I have on the 3 speakers mounted to the TV are long enough to make the trip, or if I'll have to extend them.

Have fun with that, although I assume you're going to your brothers shop that has a lift. I did mine in my driveway and it was, um, fun...

Nope, no lift! Shops to packed to let me get in and do this repair. I'll be doing it in the back of the house laid on my back like a lot of folks have. Wish me luck.

Old welding table light had an unfortunate accident, got this new one for $20 shipped and it's really well built, I thought maybe chromed plastic but, it's aluminum billet, led, and no cord on bench now, think I'll get another one...:2thumbsup:100_1419.JPG100_1420.JPG100_1422.JPG

Ordered these for the Caprice rear for the conversion to Brembo calipers. Ordered on RA on Wed evening, came today.

Trying these Ctek coated rotors for the first time as the ACDelco were quite spendy. They're as big as the front rotors on the TB!

Tired of replacing household dehumidifiers from big box stores every few years so I bought this commercial duty unit. This keeps the basement shop and apartment from getting funky smelling when the humidity gets bad in the Summer...
Delivered to my door on pallet via semi truck

Well my fuel pump for the Trailblazer came in from Amazon. I opened her up and saw pieces of white plastic floating around the bottom of the box. The white plastic housing was broke to piss, exposing the sock filter and a metal locking tab was bent. The shipping boxes were pristine so this occurred elsewhere.

My wife is sorting out the return now. Sucks but at least I am not in a bind to replace the damn thing.

Hey, at least it wasn't a transmission dropped off (literally) by Fedex!

And yes, that was our very own @Grimor

Just got this. Saw these at the DIY garage but the smaller version. Nice, slim and rechargeable. And just $21 too.

Edit: Damn. Forgot the pic.

I busted mine a while ago, I did a half ass job getting it attached with a long ass screw but it didn't hold. The wife is tired of seeing it broken and dangling there so I decided it's time to replace it.

Needed some plastic retainers so figured I'd just get a 200 piece variety at the same time as floor mat retainers, which I wound up not needing as they were built into the ones I received. Took 2 months on the boat over the Pacific. Also got the backup camera for the RV from Amazon.

Last week when I had these braces removed, I noticed the support brace going diagonal not only had some surface rust, but I could hear the flakes inside. Unsure of how bad it was I figured I would look to get a spare.

So quick check, this brace, part# 15744732 has been discontinued but avail if the dealer does a search. Only about $20, not too bad for a GM piece of metal. So food for thought if anyone needs one. I'm sure they are also plentiful at the salvage yards.

Yesterday, a collapsible 12' ladder that can (barely) withstand my carcass' weight and a pair of RV step supports. One of them has a slight bend so I'll have to contact Amazon for either a replacement or a reduction as it's still usable.
