Got my exhaust putty stuff to be delivered today. The gasket was not quite sealing fully so while the stuff is fresh i want to unbolts and seal it tight.

The oem failed...

fender, bumper cover, and hopefully the front headlight panel....(dad rear ended someone :( )

Just arrived!!! My rear diff outer seals and bearings. Unfortunately this has got to wait to be installed. I over booked myself this weekend with doing my brother-in-laws SS maintenance and finishing the wiring on the powder coating oven. 20160513_120910.jpg

View attachment 76038 Ordered an LED Avalanche 3rd brake light from SPEC-D.

Also just double checking...all I need to do is cut off plug from original and solder it to this one correct?

Yes sir, that's it. I used spade connectors instead of trying to solder it on the truck with some heat shrink over top just in case I ever needed to remove the 3rd brake light.

Santa came!

They look great but internal quality is lacking from the factory. Neither high beam bulbs were locked in, just stuck through the hole. Took one out and actually can't put it back in right. I can put the bulb in the housing or I can connect the wires but both can't be done at the same time or in any order to reach desired function. And actually while messing with it the wires on the socket got bound up inside and took up most of the available slack to use to try to put the bulb in. Good thing they're getting HIDs in highs and lows.

Got some mail from @Midnyteryder196 2 sets of diodes for quad High beam with fog light. 1 set is for my brother-in-law and the 2nd is a spare to have around. After a few messages between me and Midny I was able to get my set up working the way I wanted. Thanks once again Midnyteryder196.:2thumbsup: 20160516_190841.jpg 20160513_152022.jpg 20160513_135737.jpg
I also got you guys a pic of my cap mod. That did the trick to get everything right.

A guy that brings his kid to my baseball academy used to have an SS so he gave me some caliper covers. They were originally silver with black SS letters, so I had a friend of mine powder coat them for me and I picked them up today.

Will be ordering some caliper vinyl decals to help hide the SS that is on there, but they turned out pretty nice. Going to install them later tonight.

Well in the last 2 weeks (after I got my new S7 at the local Verizon store) I had my Gear VR delivered since they didn't have any in stock, a case for the S7 and the new kitchen sink faucet for my upcoming remodel. Also just got approved for a CarCareOne card from Discounttiredirect so I can finance my new tires over the next couple months with no interest, just waiting to hear back from Tony on getting a set of Competition Gray 22x9 SS replicas.

Haha I was looking at them thinking how much those studs could be a pain to pack well, then it dawned on me I could just screw them together. Less chance of damage, and fits in a smaller box!

Just a little reminder - use those shank style lugs to hold the spacer to the hub, then your stock lugs to hold the wheels to the spacers.

Ordered from Motor City Vinyl some caliper decals and bow tie decals for my wheels' center caps. Going to put the Chevrolet decal across the top of the caliper cover and the bow tie in the center to help cover the SS. Metallic silver color. image.jpeg

Got some used DIC steering wheel buttons today. $31 shipped off ebay, because the lights on 3/4 don't work.

Not received in the mail, but @24v 4.2 gave me a leather wrapped DIC steering wheel at the meet last weekend.

Forgot I had a cut up DIC clock spring in my parts box from @Decembersend years back, now just need the clockspring to buttons harness. :salivate:

I got new wheels and tires for dads TR8 sitting in my driveway and the lug nuts are in the mailbox. Should get the TR6 wheels/tires this week and maybe the new trailer wheels/tires. He definitely hit up the DTD sale over the weekend and it all comes to my house.
