Nope. I just handle that stuff for him and his card has my address associated with it and is under my control so i can do any warranty, rebate or other stuff associated with such things. We go through a lot of tires and parts with 30 some rentals, 100 storage units, a dozen vehicles between us, plus equipment and a half dozen trailers.

en route, Trailer wheels

Headlight bulbs... I know a lot of you prefer HIDs, but for now I'm just gonna go with these and fund some other mod projects in the works... IF it ever quits raining here.

have fun replacing bulbs after 10 hours, here's a tip about headlights, if it has Chinese writing on the label of the package, it's going to SUCK. that Blue coating on the bulbs actually significantly reduces output and traps the heat in the bulb causing to to burn out quicker, you would have been MUCH better off (and possibly cheaper) doing what I did and going with the 9011/9012 HIR (NOT HID) bulbs from Philips (well Wagner for the best price, it's the SAME EXACT BULB EITHER WAY), just a quick little snip of plastic to alter the mounting tabs and BANG fits right in.

Another set of the wheels n tires get delivered. I sure wish some of them were for me.

Thanks for the heads up, I actually ordered these after seeing them in an old GMT thread somewhere... If I don't like these or have an issue with them I'll give those a try as well... $20 a pop is cheap enough to play around and find something I like.

I did the 9011/9012 setup and a diode mod for quad high beams, thats honestly all you need to have good lighting, and if you do this DON'T pay the extra couple bucks for the Phillips, you would literally be paying extra just for the BOX they come in.

Thanks a bunch Garth aka @Mounce. I got them just in time as I'm working on my projector retro and these will be a part of the high beams along with the projectors.View attachment 76416 View attachment 76417 View attachment 76418

Lol @ my chicken scratch. Worst part was that my pen wasn't enjoying the paper and barely wrote on it, looks like the lady at the post office went in and played connect the dots for me.

Glad to see ya got them and glad that they were passed on and aren't here collecting dust at my house. I'm a hoarder of lighting stuff like that.

Lol.... So what else you got laying around?

About 10 sets of used hid bulbs, couple pairs of ballasts, decent selection of used leds. Nothing really useful for your retro unfortunately.

Package number 1 (well technically 1-4) of 5 shipments expected to arrive over the course of the next 2 weeks. (note the other 2 are in the Garage, I just had to pull these out of the way to get to the one with the invoice on it so I could file the rebates)

it's one of the Replicas, but it's pretty darn close to the original Eames Lounger but at less then a fifth the cost of the Herman Miller official version, I did a lot of research into finding one that was as close to the right size and angles as possible even then it was like $720 shipped.

Came home to all new Garage Door components...
1465334270834.jpg
1465334271035.jpg
20 (10 per door) New Nylon Rollers...
1465334271204.jpg
New Safety & Lift Cables...
1465334271300.jpg
8 (4 per door) New Pulleys and Hardware for the Safety/Lift Cables...
1465334271390.jpg
1465334271474.jpg
And 4 New Extension Springs. A pair of LT Blue for 90# Doors and another pair of White for 110# Doors (the TB side has a bigger/wider door).

Now just need to order 2 New Garage Door Opener Gear & Sprocket Assembly's to complete the overhaul.

package number 3, took 3 freaking hours to assemble and nearly 20 minutes on top of that just to unbox, SO SO SO MANY PIECES. Also the lug nuts for the new wheel showed up at like 8PM tonight.

Time for some wheel porn, thought they would be a darker gray from the pictures. Side note, any one else run these boys, if so how close is the 265/40/22 tire to the upper ball joint?

Just a little care package from one of my BBQ Brethren. He scored the Vegemite from another Aussie from back home and he doesn't care for it, so he passed it on.

took 2 wheels and 2 tires into town with me today, as that is all that could squished inside the TB given the MASSIVE speaker box in the back, will take the other 2 in next week and get the suspension/alignment checked before actually running them on the truck. holy crap the wheel/tire combo is HEAVY.

Edit to add more photos, I went out today in the sunny 90 degree weather and slapped the 2 tires that have been mounted on the truck and took some pictures.
