Working on the brother-in-law's house up here in Minnesota, while he lives in Texas. He rents it out and the city came through and made a long list of electrical code violations.

He asked the wife if I'd do the work and she said yes.

I have a feeling I'm not getting paid for this one.

Yah, my wife's a great volunteer too. Problem is, she always volunteers me!

Catching up on the DVR with the wife and recovering from the hurting Naomi gave me on Saturday. For a small woman, she has some power.

Relaxing today with the fam. No school for the kiddos due to the sleet freezing rain earlier, now it's snowing pretty good.

Dreading the drive home in the morning with all the other idiots on the road. For a Northern state that gets snow every year, most people around here drive like its their first time

No no, we live in a more dangerous part. Far enough north to get snow every year, yet far enough south where everyone assumes we shouldn't and that they can make it home because they have a Super Mega Ultra Jacked-Up Brotruck they can continue doing 55 MPH. Protip, they can't.

We get those people but we get snow and they think because the have 4X4 or awd they can drive fast and do what they want. Or they put snow tires on cars and expect they will not lose control and drive to fast. Just beautiful with these dummies on the road.

Although not quite as dangerous as you guys' situations, but equally annoying, is getting all the snow birds down here who drive like there IS snow on the ground, when it's 70 degrees and the sun is shining. :hopeless: Come on people, move your asses!!!! :hissyfit:

Sore from working on the house all weekend. Got the guest room painted from sunshine yellow to a more neutral color, and installed 95% of the laminate flooring. Still have trim to finish.

Debating on something :undecided: will know the end of the month.

Gunna take another stab at the fuel pump today after work. Work got hindered yesterday by the fuel neck not wanting to detach anywhere. So i'll give it another shot today. Anyone have tips or know of an easier way? Maybe i'm missing an easier way.

Gonna enjoy my day off and the nice 45* sunny day here in Ohio, then go and ruin it by filing my taxes today. Always pisses me off and depressing after filing when I don't even get a fourth of what i paid in taxes returned and that I pay for all the people not working and living off of all the people that do (welfare bums and single moms with 10 kids who think they deserve the thousands that they get with the earned income credit). Really hate how some of the things work in this country.

Isn't it just a hose clamp holding it to the tank? Then the neck is held to the quarter panel by a couple nuts behind the rubber boot. I think there may be a strap holding the neck to the chassis partway down too.

I had to replace my filler neck a few years ago and it wasn't a bad job.

I'm sitting here at work trying to figure out how to address my diagnosis of relapsing-remitting MS(multiple sclerosis). I can't sleep at night because I wonder about my daughter (she's coming up here in 2 weeks) and I am thinking about my future and how I will support my family. I've noticed problems I've had for years and just shrugged them off. Now a few years from 50 I'm worried. This is why I haven't been on much in the last week.

So, my GMT360 friends, any thoughts? Or should I not rely on an internet forum to voice this issue?

Voice it anywhere that helps you.

Honesty is by far the best policy. Esp with health issues. Don't hide anything, cause that person may be the one that coulda helped you. My lil bro had 3 kidney transplants betwenn 1986 and 1998. Amazing how things changed and keeping open dialogue helped between first and last one. Modern medicine is amazing if you let it help you.

Let us know if we can help!

Last day of the work week. Doctor's appointment, grocery, oil change, and tire rotation. Also shopping for a snow blower and pressure washer.

Thanks for the link. $300 is a deal and 2800psi should be plenty. Really want it so we can wash the trucks at home, spray off the house, and the deck. Have to go checkout Sams Club in Hagerstown this weekend.

If those are your goals for it then that model should work well - that's pretty much what we use ours for. One of the nicest features is the multi-angle spray head, you just rotate the head to whatever degree spray you want and go to town. There's a soap and a rinse setting as well.

A side note - if you have concrete, you'll be amazed at how clean and white you can get it with a power washer.
