Not a bad choice to make at all. If the payments are good for you, I'd say that you made a GREAT move bro but seeing as your were part of the Nation before the purchase your still stuck with the Nation after the purchase :biggrin::cool:

I still have the TB, and I will always be part of the nation.

Any pics?

I thought about taking pics, but the problem would be people and fingerprints messing things up. Plus I was only able to cover half the show.
Notes:
The Jeep Wrangler on display had a fiberglass body with steel plates on some edges. Didn't know that before.
Ford Trucks seem cheap. The door panels, in and out, bounced every time the door closed.
The 2015 Canyon was off-limits for further inspection. The 2015 Yukon was available for close inspection, but doors were locked.
The best seats belong to the Sierra.
(Did not check Chevy versions of GMC trucks)
The Chevy SS and Impala were nice.
The car I see myself driving: The Ford Transit Connect Wagon, because of the large cargo space and overhead storage. The signs also said they are not being sold in the U.S.
Ford had all of their lawnmower engines on display. :rotfl:

New truck=good, signing a new contract with the devil=bad.

It has a few things I need to take care, of but my mod bug is in submission. I was however already looking at LED bulbs for the interior, and projector headlights so I can use my spare set of HID's.

Its strange because it comes up as an LS through the VIN, but is labeled as a 2LT with the options. It does have the G80 and 3.73 gears, and it had low miles for an 08 59k. My fiance said the sales manager was in the back crying after we accepted, felt like I worked him over pretty good.

Retrofit those with Morimoto Mini H1 projectors! Probably the easiest and cheapest way to get very good lighting

Topped off the wiper fluid in my truck and the Mrs.'s XJ. Installed new wipers on the MIL's Altima. Now it's prep work for next week.....laundry, lunches, etc.

Working. Filling in for a client's main IT guy as he is out sick, which means there is a good chance I'll be twiddling my thumbs a good chunk of this afternoon.

And soon I'll be getting lunch as I'm getting hungry.

Then later today I'm going to go look at a house. Small place, but bigger than what I rent, cheap, and has a detached garage that though only has 1 bay in it the building is the size of at least a 2.5 car. Plenty of shop space

lol that house is a wreck, the floor is all wavy and bowed and there is tons of water in the muddy crawlspace. Looks like it was built over a weekend by a bunch of rednecks with a hammer, nails, and a cheap lumber after a few beers :rotfl:

The garage isn't much better, the one wall is falling off the foundation because it wasn't put together right

Keep on lookin'

Reminds me of this house with the "crazy-low" price of $25k in Iowa, 2br 1bath I believe. Set a ball on the kitchen floor and it'd roll toward the back of the house. Same thing for the living room. And every other room. And the upstairs. And the basement. No thanks.

Haha, this one would make a ball roll in any direction, depending on where you put it. The kitchen had a hump in the middle of it so 1 room, all 4 directions

Looked at a house like that when we were looking to buy about 4 years ago. House was $37k with about 1/2 acre, went inside at it was more like a fun house with every new room we entered. Once we got to the back we figured someone had been murdered in it based on the blood on the walls and broken mirrors, and spray painted words on the ceiling and walls. Then we learn they cannot use septic and must use an above ground holding tank, even better yet was the requirement to buy the adjoining lot, 6 acres for $475k. It was interesting to say the least.

On another note Schools are closed across the area and it hasn't even began to snow yet. 4th snow day before the snow started, and we have gotten maybe 2-3" total since November.

Has the school board heard of snow tires

:rotfl: It seems like such a simple solution, but no. Its much easier to leave the kids at home than to pay for such a trivial expense. Can't remember how many days we had off with little to no snow. My favorite was when they called for a monster nor'easter and it was 65 degrees out and sunny.

Schools closed though right... Must be safe

Yep. They do some interesting things here when it comes to school closing etc. Then again parents complain when the schools are open and we have flurries outside, and they complain when they close the school and nothing happens. So damned if you do, damned if you don't.

School closings should say something about the general population of the area. They can't drive in winter. :raspberry: In all honesty, nothing wrong with not letting someone drive a bus of kids around when half the area is complaining about the impending weather.

Our buses show up on time with with m/s tires. Think you boys out east need this..

You would be correct, most people down here cannot drive worth a sh!t on a good day. In the rain it gets bad and when it snows, good luck. The left hand lane also by the way is for driving at the speed limit and acting like a smug POS while doing it. VA is bad on the interstate and NJ has the worst I have seen overall.

Mandatory uphill both ways tirade inbound.

In other news, what I am currently doing is trying to help a friend figure out her relationship issues. Fun times.
