Just got out a long meeting. Trying to save 1.4 million dollars and bring call center in house. This IT guy has to make it happen.

Now at work after limping the TB home for the last time on a dead tranny. Thinking of my options...

At work, but trying to convince my girlfriend that we need another trailblazer since her little neon is bitting the dust on her. Also praying all day that when I replace the blower motor tonight I have heat and air back in my tb

Will try to finish the CR-V today since it has now become urgent with the fleet going below minimum and the TB croaking yesterday. Have to replace the parking brake shoes and a cable. Then off for the safety, which I hope I can get done tomorrow. I also had to cancel two overtime shifts today and tomorrow to deal with all this. It's getting expensive!

Just finished a McDick's breakfast and then going to fastener house to get some nuts and bolts for the CR-V. Really hoping to finish this today.

Had a quiet and productive day in the cube, since 1/3 of the office was empty, and another 1/3 left early.

Ran some errands after work, picked up a couple of pies for the holiday next week (gotta have pumpkin and pecan ) and got some goodies for the EXT in prep for winter maintenance.

Happened to see this small collapseable squeegee for a couple bucks, figured why not. Had been meaning to get one for a while just to clean the inside of the windows, no more swirls, streaks, or lint, and way faster too!

Just relaxing at my house with a beer in hand (well next to my laptop) winding down my weekend and catching the football games. Back to the normal work week tomorrow. Not looking forward to the office. We're in fierce union contract negotiations right now and A LOT of people are pissed off. Bad time to be a government employee :sadcry:

Just finished fixing the CR-V. Had to take it to a shop to have a new flange welded on the exhaust pipe. Also helped my son fix the Accord where it had a seized brake cable so had to replace it and the shoes. The wheel cylinder popped its pistons so had to replace that as well. Just have to wait till Friday to do the safety on the CR-V and then finally registered :wooot:

Cancel my previous post. Just drove it and the exhaust leaks. Sounds like it's coming from the front, maybe the manifold. Checked online and it doesn't seem like the manifold has any cracking or gasket issues. Will have to take it back to the shop and have them look at it. I think it's the manifold to pipe donut but I'm spent and can't crawl under that thing again.

Well I was going to return the headlights I ordered (I accidentally ordered the ones I already have in my tb) and it costs as much for shipping as I paid for the headlights, so now I have an extra set of headlights

Home early, as the powers that be decided to cut everybody loose to finish any grocery shopping we might have while there's still some daylight. So now I'm watching some TV on the couch, and reviewing my black Friday shopping list.

Dude. Projector retrofit. Do it!!

You HAD to know that was coming, right? :raspberry:

They are the ones with the crossbar in the middle, for our trucks

Been looking at some battery operated power tools to add to my collection, especially for my in-truck emergency kit. Have my eye on a Makita cordless impact kit. Think I may pull the trigger on that set, unless something better finds its way into my browser history before the weekend.

Fixed that for you. Scroll through the Member's Projector Retrofit thread, lots of great examples, ideas, pictures, and people willing to help you plan and execute a retrofit. All you have to be, is willing to try.

Haha good point! But don't you need to know how to solder?

That is an easy fix... Start practicing!

Sill at work for the day. Snuck out for a couple of hours to check on a Scout's Eagle Project.
