Sitting at work contemplating what my next career is gonna be. Getting real tired of this job after doing it for almost 20yrs. I'm ready to try something new where I can work for myself.

Contemplating getting another lawn tractor because swapping my Honda's snowblower for the lawn cutting deck is a real PITA. A few possible candidates on Kijiji around.

Totally. I can't really do the rides anymore with the motion sickness but it's still cool to just walk around and see everything. Let's put it this way, rolling thunder was still active the last time I was there...

Mulched the front garden beds and took the new driver and 3 wood to the range for more testing. Relaxing now before hitting the back garden and patio tomorrow.

After a boring day at work, came home and started prepping for a busy weekend. Pulled the passenger side cargo panel so I can poke around there tomorrow looking for any issues. (and I also now have a reference pic for noobs with LWB trucks asking where the rear HVAC system is without using Roadie's exploded diagram )

Ran around town picking up stuff. Autozone for some r-134a, Harbor Freight for some 6" rubber wheels, and some 1/2" hardware to mount them. The hubs are offset, so I'll have to go back and get some washers or something for the short side...

I'll bite, what are the wheels for?

The rollers on the bag for my canopy are fine on sidewalks or in parking lots, but once you get to the sand at the beach, they are worthless. They sink into the sugar sand, and turn the canopy into a 70 lb anchor. I didn't go very far from the parking lot last weekend, but I was quite sore on Monday.

So I figure 6" > 1.5", if I can make this work, beach life will be much mo' betta.

Getting ready to go to 6 flags.

I'm jealous, haven't been to a six flags park in FOREVER!

Threw the truck on the tech II, going to mow the lawn quickly then head in to work, it shouldn't be a terrible day it's just busy work that I could've done Monday but that's the way they roll so whatever. I'll probably be sleeping by one.

Installed a new hot water tank at my coworker's house today. Also ended up replumbing some of the other piping around there because the main shutoff was leaking and whoever did it originally make a big mess with pipes and fittings going every which way. It is still a little goofy looking but better than it was. We didn't really want to rip out and redo literally everything as that's what it would take to totally de-goof it.

Last day in Calif, hit a few steep streets before heading to the airport. Unreal how steep some of them are.

Family visiting today. Cookout and relaxing on the porch, maybe fishing in the pond.

Off work today. Chilling at the house. May go shoot some guns later, we'll see. May be too hot outside and I'm feeling lazy after entertaining some of the in-laws ystrdy.

Where at, Dave? Discount peeled my dip on the balancing machine on my wheels.

Merchant's Tire. Another company part of the larger conglomerate which includes Tire Kingdom, NTB, and Big O Tires.

Most tire mounting/balancing equipment is not plasti dip friendly especially if you dipped the weights and they had to move the weight or add a new weight.

As for me, back at home now, getting ready to head into work.

Yeah, I figured that out. Luckily the Prelude guy works there and put tape weights on my wheels, which stick to the inside of the wheel.

The dip is peeling around the rim of the wheel but those guys can't help it, honestly.

As for me, I'm enjoying a morning off and then have to go to work around 1600.

Working again after a day "off" spent doing brakes on a 2500 and a fan clutch on an envoy yesterday. But extra money is good money.
