Worked a solid 3 hours this morning. Brother brought his avalanche over to the shop so I got side tracked and helped him change his shocks on all 4 corners instead. Finished with enough time to grab a bite to eat before having to be over to the university's rec center for a charity football game.
Our team took on the local wheelchair team in a game of wheelchair football. It was an absolute blast! Took a minute to get the hang of it, but after one possession of offense/defense i got the hang of it. Too little to late though, they were gamers! Spanked the pants off of us, beat us by 3 scores. It was a great time.
Relaxing now at home with the pups, probably will take them for a nice walk

Struggling through this Monday. 30 minutes into work, smashed my right thumb to hell. Can barely bend it, but ill live so I plowed on. About an hour later I had an 8- flute milling cutter get stuck in the automatic draw on my mill and lock itself up, slicing right into my left thumb. Definitely not my day. I hate Monday.

Camped in my 'office' today. They put a bare door on yesterday, and put a coat of paint on it about an hour ago. It's supposed to be some office friendly low odor formula, but I can still smell it, and it's slightly annoying. The new project that got started last week has stalled already. It's irritating how frequently that happens around here.

So off to the interwebz for surfing I go... Got a Youtube announcement email with a bunch of links to stuff that didn't seem interesting. Scroll, scroll, scroll, then a link to a ~20 minute speech about cyber bullying by Monica Lewinsky catches my eye. Hmm, well she certainly has credibility to speak on that subject. I took a look, interested in hearing what she had to say. A good watch IMO. Was a little shocked to hear she's 41 now, puts into perspective just how long ago that was, and how cyber bullying was in it's infancy back then...

Other than that, trying to get some housing related stuff of my own in order. Contacted a loan officer at my bank to try and coordinate and figure out what kinda options I have to get the home buying process rolling. Also requested a 6 month lease extension from my current property manager. That way I can avoid having to move so soon, and buy a little time to see how the first bit plays out.

TSP worked on the glue I removed to redo the vinyl tile in my master bathroom.

Got my hands on a couple free boxes of Tagalongs from one of the admin assistants.

She put a couple boxes in the break room yesterday, which I noticed as I was leaving for the day. I gave her a hard time about teasing me (she did so every day for about 2 weeks straight after I bought 4 boxes), then asked if she had any left, that I'd take em. Went to pull out my wallet and she said "No sir" and promptly walked away. I will be avoiding Kyle's healthy eating thread for about a week or so

If they were Samoas, one box would have been gone before quitting time. I like to have these frozen, which also helps because I don't see them very often and might (not likely) temporarily forget they are there. But yeah, when my sweet tooth kicks in, those could get inhaled in a blink.
