Nice! You planning on doing that with an Add A Fuse?

I intended to finish sanding red paint off speaker box, fill a few places with wood putty, resand necessary spots, prime it, paint it, and work on removing door molding.......

Finished sanding old paint off (yay!)
Filled a few places with wood putty (yay!)

After that, it went down hill and I'm blaming dear hubby.....

Decided to work on removing the door molding while wood putty dried. Got extension cords hooked up and drug to driveway, had my little boys stool to sit on, heat gun plugged in, fishing line in hand and I was ready to go.....

Dear hubby says, 'I just looked under the truck and I can get this molding at the very bottom off really quick. It's just a couple of bolts and push pins. I was thinking you may wanna go ahead and paint it since its so nice today.'

Of course, he knows how desperately I want that gray plastic painted black and knew I would say yes. I swear it was some kind of trick!!

We did get I it removed from both sides and I got ONE of them sanded and painted. When I came out of my bubble and looked around, I'll be d@mned if it wasn't almost dark! Didn't have time to start the passenger side piece so decided I would at least start removing the door molding. If I could have just got ONE removed, I would have been happy. I dragged everything back to the driveway except for the fishing line, which I couldn't find. Apparently, sometime during the day, my 3 yr old got it, so I got to play a fun-filled round, or seven, of 'Find the d@mn fishing line'. Played that until it was almost pitch black, so that didn't get accomplished either.

Needless to say, I will (once again) be driving my TB to work with a few body pieces missing while waiting for the next pretty day to finish something I started on my day off......

I checked the speaker box and sweet child of mine found my putty knife and tried to 'help' me, so I had to apply more to th gouges he made in the wet putty and it's still drying.....

I've been busy all day, yet didn't get a d@mn thing completed!! Ah well, there's always tomorrow!!

I managed to get all of nothing finished with 5 stitches in my head from a biopsy I had to have Friday to check for melanoma.....what a weekend!!

Took in the Chilliwack gun show this AM, only thing bought was a nice multi-pocket "OutBack" vest. This afternoon, took advantage of the gorgeous weather to do a 6km walk along the Matsqui Trail, on the banks of the Fraser River, with my daughter. It was so warm that wearing the new vest over a t-shirt and light cotton shirt was too much!

Your job sounds a lil bit like mine. I'm final inspector for parts we chrome plate and ship to a fuel injector manufacturer.

Used to be a final inspector at a plastic injection molding facility and I inspected interior parts we shipped to the GM facility in Bowling Green, KY - Corvette line specifically. Many of the z06 models, probably have my initials on the underside of the dash, door, b pillar, glove box, or bezel lol

Another 65 degree day here. Wood putty in speaker box is dry so the goal is to resand those areas, and at least get it primed. While that dried I want to do finish painting plastic molding from under the door. While that dries, attempt number 2 will be made to remove molding on door. Fyi - fishing line has been found and put out of the reach of my sweet little red headed child. Wish me luck!! Lol

Working, then the gym, then hopefully selling my Monte SS. That'll bring me down to 24 cars. 25 if you count the 04 TB I'm parting out.

Hopefully before long I should have my yard and shop back.

Speaker box is primed. Dear hubby painted molding under the door and quickly re installed it. Refuse to post a pic cause there aren't enough coats of black to remotely match the truck. As usual, he was rushing and half-@ssing it, which is why I always do it. #deepbreathes #counttoten #itcanbefixed

Armed with heat gun and fishing line, we tackle the door molding next......

Getting stressed. Not much time for the forum recently, but I'm trying. Got a lot going on.

Aaaaaand to top it off, I have a hump forming along the tread on my right-front tire. I'm assuming it is from the obstacle course I drive 5 times a week. Potholes potholes! Not the time to have that kind of expenditure, but it must be done.

There's some remodeling and construction going on in our office for the next few weeks. I'm getting booted from my cozy corner, so they can build offices for upper management, so this is the view from my cube (while it still exists). Needless to say, it's noisy as :lipsrsealed: even with my headphones on.

20150310_093512.jpg

The area I'm moving to is normally quiet, but I found out yesterday, my new cube is getting another office built right next to it. And unlike common sense would dictate, build the offices where the spots are vacant, and the uprooted people will be going to, first. :ugh: SO after I get moved over there, they will start working on my next door neighbor's office, and I'll have days of more air power nail guns and power tools. :hopeless:

Oh I so love reading event logs so much!

Just doing the work thing. Modified a broken articulating monitor mount to hold some of our equipment instead so I can free up my desk space. This afternoon I'm repairing other equipment. Tonight I may poke around Autotrader again, but so far I'm not finding anything that I really want to go see. Kicking around the idea again of asking my buddy to weld some steel plates to my frame to give me more time with this one... Hey, if anyone here has a non-rusty 4WD TB for sale let me know!

Working. Sold my Monte Carlo last night. Funds are going to buying a new bike this weekend. My other bikes are in various stages of a build, so this new one will just be your average cruiser.

Another noisy day in the cube. Hopefully today will be easier than yesterday. Came in this morning, and a bit more progress had been made with the offices going up in my area.

20150311_070734.jpg

There's my cube, way in the back corner, inside the CFO's office-to-be.

20150311_070738.jpg

They are starting to put up the electrical, and light switch, boxes, so conduit/wiring will probably be dropped today. They are starting to do work on the area I'll be moving to. Shifting a row of cubes about 10 feet to make room for 3 offices being built into a corner. Once the shift is done, then I can move my stuff. At least I'll have a window... Only drawback (besides being distracted by the ducks) is that I've heard it gets hot over there when the sun shines in. :undecided:

Usually my problem is being cold in here, and keep my hoodie on the back of my chair. So hopefully those issues offset themselves. Time will tell.

Just got home from work, but it's raining so I can't do anything to the truck. I'm just going to sit and admire my vision of seat covers becoming a reality! Have to leave them laying flat for at least another 24 hours while the adhesive used to apply the patch cures......

Worked. The school cancelled classes today so we didn't have a mandatory practice, but I had some dedicated upperclassmen come and train with me. Eating and relaxing the rest of the evening

Work my 8 hrs (would be more, but on 'light duty' because of wrist tendinitis), supposed to be almost 60 degrees by the time my shift ends, so I will install seat covers, paint my speaker box, molding at very bottom of door, maybe interior drivers rear door panel, and work on pulling molding off passenger side doors.
Also waiting on new amp to arrive. Had to replace one under my warranty when it fried. Dear hubby handles that and the only thing in stock was Pyle brand (warned him they were crap), 6800 watts. Right now I only have (2) 12' subs installed but j know how much bass they are capable of. Once we installed the Pyle amp, I kept telling him there's no way it can be pushing 6800 watts. He kept saying it wasn't adjuste right. Friend came over to adjust it and when he checked the amps, (surprise, surprise), it's only pushing about 2000 watts
