 Talking to the fraud prevention department at my bank. Some low life managed to get my credit card number and try to make some purchases at a Family Dollar in Queens, and pay a parking meter. Grand total of $115 on 3 attempted purchases last Thursday. Luckily the bank caught the abnormalities, and suspended my account.

Problem was, they used one of those automated notification systems that calls you with the speak-and-spell voice, and they have my work number on file, so I never knew anything was up until the weekend when I went to use my brand new card I just activated and it wouldn't work.

New card is in the mail, so just have to wait on that, and of course, I won't have to worry about the charges either.

Bout done with the regular job and get to go move a washer and dryer, then change out a dishwasher, and then mow some grass. Hopefully after that I get to change the oil on the DD. Sometimes being the landlord sucks.

Balls deep in this 64 vette. The owner has had numerous issues with the cluster backlighting being too dim and the sockets popping out. I popped in some leds yesterday and it looked killer but the leads to the cluster bulbs are too short which is causing them to pop out with the slightest nudge even when just driving the car. So I'm extending the leads to relieve the tension and securing the sockets into the cluster. This will make it serviceable and hopefully make this a long term fix.

I don't know what to do with all this spare time! Since switching back out of Loading, I've had two days in a row where I get out at 4:xx instead of 7:00.

Also hit up Advance Auto, they have a deal going on right now. 50% off a 7-piece set of GearWrench flex-head wrenches. They didn't have any SAEs in stock to get a complete set, but I got a 7-piece metric set for a whopping $35 plus tax. That's an extreme deal considering how much flex-heads usually cost, no matter what the brand!

And yes, I know GW isn't what it used to be and all that, but they are still pretty darn nice. Anyone looking into getting ratchet-head wrenches should definitely hit up an Advance Auto while this deal is still going on, I'm guessing it'll go on for probably a couple weeks to a month.

Work is slow, so I'll be clock watching for a while. After that, heading to the B-ball court with a handful of coworkers to see just how bad my cardio has slumped since March. :ugh:

Hopefully won't catch a case of old-man syndrome and not be able to walk tomorrow :raspberry:
