What about rebuilding it?dmanns67 said:Finally received my over priced carburetor adjustment tool so I can adjust the carb on the weedeater to fix the sputtering at full throttle. Also picked up a feeler gauge so I can double check the gap on the spark plug. If this does not fix it, then I will have to spend the $25 for a new carburetor
There is really not too much to the carburetor. I could not find a rebuild kit of any sort other than the primer ball, seals, and fuel lines. It is only a few years old and I have taken it apart and cleaned it. Sears has already adjusted the carburetor once, so after cleaning it I just need to tune it a bit. $25 is cheap for a new carburetor anyways off of Amazon.Mounce said:What about rebuilding it?
Edit: then again, I guess you wouldn't save a whole lot compared to buying the new one. That's actually a pretty decent sounding price.

I know... I was just telling the gf the other day that with us being so busy every weekend either hosting or going to BBQ's, I'm starting to neglect my online family...Blckshdw said:So THAT'S where you've disappeared to lately!
