Gonna do that soon as well. Not enough time to wash the TB again so I figure the drive thru should work well since everything is fresh.Capote said:
I say go for it. At least now you get 5% off and a chance to get them for free.Sparky said:Seriously considering ordering a full leather seat set/brackets/etc for my Camaro, but that's $1150. Now with a code I can get 5% off, and on Nov 2nd they'll do a random drawing for one person using that code to get a full refund.
Do I go for it? Or do I hold off on doing anything with the seats in the car until later?
Hmmmmm
Pretty much got same results as me using my usual manual car wash joint. Only thing is the water pressure of this, touchless wash actually removed some paint off the rear bumper trim pieces I've painted. Door handles too......Mounce said:Gonna do that soon as well. I had to same issue with my home pressure washer. Had to buy a pressure regulator to tone down the pressure from 2800psi to as low as 1000psi. Most car washes are around 1500psi.Capote said:Pretty much got same results as me using my usual manual car wash joint. More likely Hids since I believe they use a 9004/9007 style bulb which there are no crees forCapote said:Put some aftermarket wheels on, lower it, cree's or HIDs, tint windows
I was hoping you'd say that. What temp?Darkrider_LS said:More likely Hids since I believe they use a 9004/9007 style bulb which there are no crees for
Have you looked on Ebay? Many different versions. They might not be true cree LEDs though but you never know. They're in the $100 range.Darkrider_LS said:More likely Hids since I believe they use a 9004/9007 style bulb which there are no crees for

Am I the only guy on GMTN without 6k's?Darkrider_LS said:Most likely around 6000k
One evening I plan on spending a lot of time researching Hids again and talking to my supplier to see if our new ballasts are available yetMounce said:I'd go with HIDs myself. Just a good brand such as morimoto if you can afford it.
Correct. I have 9004 HIDs in the F150. Interesting how they work to create the hi beam.Darkrider_LS said:More likely Hids since I believe they use a 9004/9007 style bulb which there are no crees for
4300K is where its at. If you want more lighting, they produce the most lumens. 5000K is even too high for me.Capote said:Am I the only guy on GMTN without 6k's?
TRS is releasing their new Morimoto XB35 ballasts November 1st. Their XB35 HIDs are comparable to the Osram CBI. CBIs usually run $190 a pair. XB35s are around $50 a pair.Darkrider_LS said:One evening I plan on spending a lot of time researching Hids again and talking to my supplier to see if our new ballasts are available yet
Nope, David and the other projector guys run 4300-4500kCapote said:Am I the only guy on GMTN without 6k's?
Yea my old K3500 has H4 bi xenons...they basically use a little shutter to redirect the light pattern to the different areas of the reflectors.dmanns67 said:Correct. I have 9004 HIDs in the F150. Interesting how they work to create the hi beam.
Hmmm will need to scope that out..dmanns67 said:4300K is where its at. If you want more lighting, they produce the most lumens. 5000K is even too high for me.

He might he able to keep it simple snd he's reputable. Good luck, don't forgetDarkrider_LS said:Good idea
I may end up talking to him about a retrofit on the blazer perhaps either wayPlaysinsnow said:He might he able to keep it simple snd he's reputable. Good luck, don't forget
9004/9007 variety runs a solenoid setup, no shutter deal. Don't know what order the pics will be in but, one is with it extended (low beam) and one is with it pulled in (high beam)Darkrider_LS said:Yea my old K3500 has H4 bi xenons...they basically use a little shutter to redirect the light pattern to the different areas of the reflectors.
