Banned or Invisible TrailVoy Members- Check in and tell us why

My account over there looks normal, but I have not been able to even log in to the other site since the jailbreak.

I can't log in, I can not request my password, I recieve no reply when trying to contact the admin, I just want in to change some of my personal info, but it is like my account access just flat disappeared.

I guess that means I am banned. If someone in the know could PM and explain what happened or how they did that, I would appreciate it.

I have to get on IE to see the OS now. I had it selected to "remember me" so I didn't have to sign in every time on Firefox, and when I got banned (oops sorry, when I died ) it still keeps me "signed in". Just says that my password has expired and click here to change - then it goes to the why you were banned thing. Suppose I could clear my history . . . . .

Then they blocked my shill for "not meeting the membership requirements and your registration has been removed." So not only are they banning everyone, they are refusing NEW members to their sinking ship??

The staff at GMTNation find this practice to be unacceptable. A private message (PM) is just that...private. On this site, the only people who will ever read your private messages are the people you send them to.

As an active member I came to this site for general information on Envoy’s and Trailblazers. Trailvoy.com helped me with my decision on what I was going to purchase…let me reiterate that, the OLD USERS of trailvoy.com and their old forum posts helped me make my decision, but unfortunately they were all banned from the forum sometime ago, for reasons that trailvoy.com will not confirm.

Some people here will say I was sucked into a cult, but where I went is far from that. I enjoy every minute of everyday typing until my fingers get sore. I can be myself, dirty sense of humor and all, and not be afraid of super mods hunting me or my posts down like a midnight alley-way gangster looking for their next hit. I am not judged! Which to me is the most important. I can post the most unintelligent questions on this forum, and I get answers that make me feel accepted, thought of, and most of all important. Just because I had no idea what a resonator was, does not mean I am entirely stupid, and I was not made to feel that way either. I remember posting in a thread trying to help another person on Trailvoy.com, when a user flat out called us noobs, and told us to basically go get a manual and quit being stupid….seriously?

I don’t get told to constantly get a manual, or read my manual, or use the forum search to find your answer. I get answers! From several people, and if they don’t know the answers, they are not insecure or afraid to link me to another forum for the information. I can post crazy off topic things, stuff about my dog or my children without being lectured for being off topic. I truly feel like I am apart of a family, a very large extended family, with hundreds of brothers and sisters! I know that when I decide to take a road trip, no matter what city, state or country I travel to, if I break down and need help….I will get it. I won’t be left stranded on the side of the road or in the back woods, someone will come help me…I have faith in that. Can you say that about users of Trailvoy.com? How confident are you in posting a thread on Trailvoy.com asking for help because your serpentine just broke and your truck is loaded with kids traveling from one state to another? I bet your not very confident at all?

I however know that the users at G M T N A T I O N . C O M will come to my aide. I know that even though I have only been a member there for 4 days, I would have someone coming out to help me fix whatever issue it is I need help with. It’s not just a forum or a mechanical website, it’s a friendship….a family. Nothing like Trailvoy.com

Now, let me mention that Trailvoy.com HAS NOT done me wrong in any way. My decision to post this letter will ultimately get me permanently banned, however if just 1 person reads this and makes the switch, then my story will go on, the OLD USERS of trailvoy.com’s story will go on. The truth will come out. By joining G M T N A T I O N . C O M you will not be disappointed!! We will open our forum to you, and we will welcome you. Just be warned, making the switch could ultimately lead to your trailvoy.com account being deleted and removed which honestly isn’t that bad at all. After all it is a dying forum, that moderators and community staff are struggling and desperately trying to keep alive. I was told in an e-mail that I was missed here at trailvoy.com. How can I be missed when NO ONE was here for me in the first place? I admire your strength in trying….but it’s just not worth it, not to me. If I am going to spend money on a premium account, I am going to do so on a forum that actually helps me and gives me the information I need. If I want to waste my money that bad….There is a strip club down the road from me, and the girls there don’t photoshop their asses J

Voymom, we were laughing in here at some of the lame advice you were given in your thread over there about lack of power and I commented that no one had told you the obvious: your cat converter is getting plugged up and you should get a simple backpressure test done to confirm.

Two hours later, a mod over there suddenly gave you the same advice. It is obvious they read these threads for advice.

It will be interesting to see if I ever get banned. I have kept my account clean and never said a bad word about anyone. Other than I haven't posted anything, advice or otherwise, in months, I want to see if what I say about them in this site causes me to get banned in their site.

And, by the way, my account name is the same, my details are the same and what I do for a living is exactly the same.

The only strange thing is I went in to delete my photos from my gallery so they can't be used to help others, and I no longer have the option to delete photos.

So I got my original hardtrailz400 zapped without any cause and is just as if it did not exist and now the account I used just to be able to search has been hidden when my 3 posts were actually legit responses. Guess they can fuck off and I will not even log in. Means no more searching there since the ads leave you only enough space to read one post at a time

Oh, yeah - another evil tactic they have in their playbook they also applied to me. Makes sure nobody can attempt to contact you even after the ban. Changing the username of one of our members from Geoturtle to "Geoturdle" was another classy move. Not.

For as hard as VS has tried to push the mods to prevent any mention of this site, and for "forced" involvement of the VS staff in that site, people are still able to spread the word quite easily. Seeing as TrailVoy is the number 1 referrer of new traffic and members to this site, we couldn't be happier.

I just looked up a few friends that say are online like blckshdw for instance... it says hes online looking at an actual page, but when i clicked on his name it said something like invalid username, and i know for a FACT HE AINT ON HERE ANYMORE so admins whats up with that S H I T! Look i havent been on here all winter, infact it was so long i actually had to get a new password cuz i forgot mine, when i come back i have pms and people tellin me that are close friends that the site went to **** basically and no ones on here anymore and tellin me to pay attention to the posts alot are copy and pastes from the OS GMT Nation .com so i have been, and there is alot of that, and they said to pay attention to some people(cough admins cough) having schill accounts and double posting to ring up the post number so i did, and started askin questions to the ones i thought were doing so that only they would know if they were talking to me under there other schill accounts, i like honesty and i have been a member on here for sometime now, and we never had all these adds like this, mqn im glad the last couple weeks ive been on here on tapatalk cuz the adds were horrible on my pc. UTTER GARBAGE!

I do get on there from time to time if someone mentions a thread to look at or something, or if I need to look up an old thread as a reference. But I know the way they run that sight, keeps users listed as logged in to pad their stats and stuff.
