The story is that one station was bought out and the new owner put a sign on the front door "Now hiring. USA not apply." So the other station (corp backed) started to try to drive them out of business. Went on for almost 3 weeks. Cops had to direct traffic, had roads closed. People were waiting in line for 45 minutes. Sucked to get through that mess.

Oh wow, in the end did one stay and the other go?

Replaced the starter this morning, then drove it all over the place today, and filled the tank at the cheapest gas station in a 30 mile radius. It happened again, gas just started to touch the $3 mark and oil jumps and gas jumps back up to $3.59+

 I just filled up my wife's car @ $3.34

After that sign I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from them no matter how cheap they sold it.

They are both still open. The station with the sign, gave up and started to raise their price back up. The other station is still about .10/gal cheaper. $3.19 and $3.10 today. After I heard about that sign I won't go there for ANYTHING either. I went to the other station. People were still lined up there though.

I got it for $3.32 :raspberry: And I was further down in Columbus. Most stations were at the $3.59 mark, that doesn't mean I paid that much

Yeah but if that doesn't then I am screwed with a filter with a hole in it lol its in a crappy spot, I have a big hand and it was hard getting a grip of it and my dad couldn't get it either. Usually we are able to change it, don't know why it got stuck this time. Oh well Ill just take it to the dealer next time and have them deal with it.

Then you just keep working on it until it comes off!! Silly excuses :raspberry:

loll I worked on it for a good 30 mins and said forget it after. I had a filer wrench or something like that, and that didn't help either because it wouldn't fit in that small slot they give you to get to the filter.

When mine gets stuck I put a little carb cleaner on the rag and it seems to work.

Drove it all this weekend. Also ordered new liftgate support struts since my left one blew out. That thing is heavy without both support struts working.

hmm I did not think to try that, Jrss gave me the idea of trying to use a glove with grips on it and did that and also nothing. Its just the spot its located and my big hand doesnt seem to equal. I have to twist with my wrist rather then use my elbow or shoulder so it was harder. Oh well Ill figure something out for next time no biggie. Already put the new oil in

Here is what I have done so far on the liner, still need to get the door panels and plastic rocker panels back on and finish sand blasting the bumper and paint it. Was originally going to do my front bumper in black but now I'm thinking about matching the front bumper like the rest of the truck. Any opinions?

It looks almost too smooth or consistent to be liner to me for some reason. Stuff I've seen previously was much more granular/coarse looking.

Also, is it just the picture angle or is your axle way off center from the vehicle body? Looks like it is kicked way over to the right.

Well you can get different textures depending on what psi you use. Here is the best pic I have of the texture. I think the texture turned out perfect not to rough that its going to hurt to rub against your skin but will hopefully still give some good protection and most importantly fixed my rust!! :wootwoot: I hope lol
To get a good look at the texture click on the picture and let it load, click on it again and then click once more to zoom in! (ignore the tape reside left behind, it is now gone)

I think its just the picture that's making the axle look off since it isn't in person. I do see what you mean tho... weird

Brough it home from the boby shop today, bumper cover repaint from a lady that hit me a couple weeks back.

Side note: I sure hated taking the rental her insurance paid for back, was a nice new Silverado. Was nice driving since Friday, but sure had a thirst.

Towed a trailer for the first time. Only problem I had was moving it in reverse. Turn left to steer right and vice versa.
