My modded tails passed the cop test with one minor side effect.... Apparently they wash out the license plate. As there is no maximum brightness in Washington law, I'm not obligated to undo the mod. Nicely told the officer as such and left with a warning about the plate visibility.

I believe he's saying the tails are so bright they make the license plate hard to see in comparison.

Painted bumber pad.

. Its not "fully" installed yet. (That's why it looks warped, but its not). Trying to decide if I like the bumper pad on or off. Even with the holes.

I used Turtle Wax Polishing Compound. I didn't look that good until after wax.

My cuz had both some clear coats from lowes I think and it had lacquer in the name and after a wet sand for 2000grit sand paper my tails came out looking like a mirror. Also waxing them with meguiar wax (to me that stuff is the best) they look perfect! the wax kept them clean for a long time

Put on my rear djm swaybar and smaxx endlinks. The rear driver side was a pain but i got it off without needing to cut. I got lucky from some stories ive read. All done with suspension upgrades. Next is a new larger toolbox before upgrading my brakes and changing all fluids.

I dropped the transfer case out of the parts truck. Transmission should come out tomorrow and then will be ready to pull the engine next week!!!

The fuel tank and exhaust came out a few days ago, it is looking pretty barren underneath the truck.
