RIP Little buddy....Sparky said:I hit a bird with it, which managed to wedge its head between the bumper cover and headlight. When I tried to extract the bird from there it popped its head off Good thing it was dead already...
What size are the tires?smt 59 said:Just did a couple of things;
New tires, went a little bigger this time and went all terrain, put on the air intake a few days back.
Wider lights.HeavyChevy4200 said:Looking at cab lights for the Envoy. My previous truck was a 2500HD and had a set. I miss the look. Trying to decide between the narrower 02-06 lights or the wider 07+ lights.
Tire size is 265/65R/17mcsteven said:What size are the tires?

Under the main page settings -> Manage extra PIDs/Sensors -> Add predefined set... Add the Pontiac/GM/Opel/Vauxhall PIDs. That should help.gmcman said:I have a question though...when displaying trans temp in Torque Pro, I have the units in Fahrenheit but the value is low....about 70 deg when starting and 90 deg after an hour of driving.
What can I change to get the correct value?
That I did.Blckshdw said:Under the main page settings -> Manage extra PIDs/Sensors -> Add predefined set... Add the Pontiac/GM/Opel/Vauxhall PIDs. That should help.
awesome! Thanks for clearly that up for meSparky said:I never bothered. The sensors are behind the metal bumper part somewhere. Just taking the cover off won't trigger anything, especially with the ignition off.
The noises I had during startup, made me ponder the 0-weight. Then given the 220K miles, I figured I would give it a shot. Going to compare cold start, noises when hot and cold, MPG's...pretty much a trial. The M1 0W-40 is also SN rated, probably won't make too much difference since this motor was built during I believe the "SL" era. Alot of people like it, and it's not as thick at start up as a 5W oil.Sparky said:Why the change in oil weight?
That's one hell of a long commute!Logged 134,000 miles on the way to work this morning.
I can understand the 0 weight, but why the 40? Noise after warm-up?The noises I had during startup, made me ponder the 0-weight. Then given the 220K miles, I figured I would give it a shot. Ehh, nothing drastic, but with the mileage I wanted to try it. Seems to have quite a following, but if it tanks my mileage I will go with the 0W-30 but the 0W-40 has more of the anti-wear agents of the Phosphorus and zinc than the 0W-30 or 5W-30.Wooluf1952 said:I can understand the 0 weight, but why the 40?
