Vids or it didn't happen :raspberry:

Let her rest today, contemplating taking the gauges out and starting the process of replacing steppers and bulbs tonight.
Standby [emoji50]

Starting to research stepper motor replacement for the Voy. Over the past couple of months I've noticed some jerkiness to the speedometer. While driving it home from Long Island today I noticed it was reading 5 MPH less than the GPS. I still have a pic on my phone of when I hit some significant mileage event. Pulled it up and compared the needle position at 0 MPH, Its definitely sitting 1/4 inch lower now.

I'm gonna be replacing mine tomorrow. It'll be virtually the same as a TB on the inside so if you need any help let me know. I can get you a link to motors with bulbs (got them for $25) and a link to the best video on YouTube I've seen of how to replace them if needed.

Continued to let mine rest instead of tearing the cluster out.. gotta de-clutter my work area before tearing into it. Got all kinds of random parts and pieces from other projects on the table.

Go ahead and send/post the links. Right this moment I'm leaning to sending it out. Three new projects at work plus an on-going one. With all the traveling I do for work now dedicating a day to work on the cluster may not be easy.

I didn't but the wife did...

I had hood not latched cause grill getting repainted and she took off in it to see a friend...50 mph n cowl embedded in windshield.

Just happy she held it together and hot it pulled into a driveway. She is safe n I can buy new glass.

Did get to find out real quick like that it fits in garage since there is s hole and its sleeting out.

Almost experienced that myself last month..had the hood just latched and forgot about it, got on interstate in Kentucky heading home and wondered why it was shaking so bad..then noticed the hood flopping and quickly pulled over. Glad yo wife is alright.

Replaced all six stepper motors and ten of the twelve bulbs. Burnt one of the circuit board pads off for the right turn signal so I just soldered it to the other two pads there thinking that they also had voltage but no...no more right turn signal light.

Dash trim is a huge pita btw.

You should of put LED strips in the cluster

What's a PITA about the dash trim?

I seriously thought about it but ya'know that'd be something I'd have to get ok'd by the owner lol. Plus it was a little late to order and by the time I thought about it.

And that trim didn't wanna come out nor go back in.

The dash Bezel? It's annoying as hell to get that one edge over and out infront of where you insert the key

Changed the oil. Oil changes in the winter suck.

Outside? I do mine in the kitchen and basement.

Drove it to work today. Pretty gnarly out with the blizzard that has been going on since last night, but nothing the TB can't handle. A few crazy mofo's out driving though. Most of the idiots are driving sedans.

You think you're driving one of bond's rides, I swear

What for?

Put on new AC Delco wipers after removing the crappy flex blade things the PO had on (and for some reason had a real short on the pass side messing up the rain sensor :duh: )

My blades are 2 different sizes, shorter on passenger side. I didn't like rain sensor so I pulled the fuse and now I have normal GM intermittent wipers.

Washed the TB today despite putting 0 miles on it since the last bath. Had a small mishap involving my shop vacuum and body filler dust so had to clean the whole shop.

Also popped some leds in my pickup.

Ran the Voy through the car wash and rinsed off the Silverado.
