Yesterday, watched it turn over to 125,000 miles. Not bad for a 12 year old truck.
Sounds like mine. I've got a 2006 with 89k miles. But it's in the shop now getting new motor - warranty!

Thanks for the painting info. Someone else recommended the Duplicolor as well.

Vinyl lettering? That part of the caliper doesn't get hot enough to affect it? I've been thinking today about the flags emblem from a Corvette on them, but I think it shouldn't be large enough. Yellow GMC logo and red caliper or vice versa.

omg...

today i took some tin foil and wrapped the oil filter hose ends as I suspected them. so if they are spraying, it would drip out of the foil...

took a quick spin, still oil back on the transmission bellhousing....

felt back by the oil presure sensor.. felt some oil back there! it was finger tight, but when I took a socket to it, it turned another half a turn!

I'm trying to cope with the idea that I replaced the rear main seal for NOTHING GAAAHHHHHHDAAAAAMMMEEEEEEE

You found and corrected the issue. Breathe in. Breathe out. But yeah, I'd be pissed as well spending the $$ and time.

BTW - what's the hardware & software interface to get the access you showed a pic of in the lying I6 oil gauge where you posted a screen shot. It was type of sender, switch vs sensor.

the money is irrelevant, dropping a transmission on jack stands literally brought me to tears...
heres a video of me

That would be HPTuners. comes in handy once you get to the point you start really modding

Ouch. 5 bills. What are the credits? Licenses for vehicles? Downloads for specific vehicles?

well in the past week I watched it roll over 178k, 179k, and 180k. 3500mi of towing and 6 happy customers later i think it deserves an oil change...

yeah, basically you need to register a VIN to the dongle to write a tune, and it "costs" 2 credits per VIN. it comes with 8 credits though.
also you can buy custom oses for certain ecms

You mentioned it earlier - yeah, got to rid it of the side boards, They look odd that low. That looks damn sweet with the wheels, color and lowered.

Condemned the thermostat.

9 years old, 112k miles. It's served its purpose, now the temperature reading ping-pongs between 1/4 and 1/2 for a good while before striking up to a solid 210 or 1/2 past the middle mark.

It's okay, it's been in there a long time and a radiator flush won't hurt a thing anyway.

ok no more oil leak

although I think i put the wrong spring in the 2-4 servo. seemed tight when I was putting it in, the 1-2 is definitely delayed... whatevs, as long as i can swap it without dropping the tranny i'm good

Went to the pick-a-part, the only GMT360 (I nicknamed it "Don't ever have kids") was completely picked of everything of any value.

I continued on, and came across a mid-2000's Chevy Avalanche... Of course, the first thing that came to mind was 3rd brake light.
I popped that sucker out and for $15 had a new light for the TB.

I'm contemplating if I should cut out the diffuser so the bare LEDs show through, but I don't know how it would look with this year Avalanche light. I know the recommended Avalanche lights (for this mod) have LEDs the whole way across, but this one only has 4.

Got it inspected. All new 4 rotors, new e-brake shoes (now e-brake works!), and all new 4 sway bar links (warrantied). Then I took it off roading, pressure washed it, then drove around some country roads.

Changed spark plugs in between rain storms. Definitely have a improperly seated coil pack :duh: , but the rain started back up so I'll have to wait till morning to take care of it

I had hoped it would be back today. It also had a whine which I thought was a steering pump. After reading here sounds like it could also be fan clutch. Another day in a Camry without HIDs or auto temp.

Broke it.

Started hearing this metallic clanging noise a bit on my way to work today. Around town it was OK otherwise, but at highway speed bumps were a little unsettling, like the rear end wasn't staying planted properly.

Well, I apparently broke my upper trailing arm on the driver side. Some may remember I sheared off the upper on the passenger side a couple years ago when I hit a monster pot hole. This one looks like it just rusted, got weak, and broke off. So I think that makes me the first one on here to break off both of them while not even off road

Anyone have a spare driver side upper trailing arm I can buy for cheap?

Ordered more decals; Considering converting grill to an 06-09 TB Bentley Mesh type grill like the one seen below. Obviously would then buy the headlights for TB models without the crossbar so there's no awkward emptiness there.

You would need a different bumper too as the LS doesn't have the step in it.

I'm not positive, but I think the header panel is different also, would have to replace that. I think, i'm not sure, I haven't seen the LT front end with out the grill on.
