:biggrin:Installed 8000k Kensun HID headlights (lows) and foglights, and wired up 6 beam hi's. Still need to do the drl killer (bought all the stuff, just need to wire it) I have just been manually turning them off, before shifting into gear.

Also put in my weathertech floormats.:wootwoot:

Two more days and the heat is supposed to break Saturday with storms. At least here anyway.

I love that grille. Did you decide to leave it black? I think it looks good against the dark color of your TB

I am sure the kids loved you for that! Atleast you are driving around a TB instead of a early 90's chevy van with no windows and a sign on it that says free icecream lol

I was gonna fill up yesterday when I got off work, but it was pouring, and windy, so...

My Scangauge has been pretty accurate, to within +/- .3 gallons per fill up over the last several years, so according to it, I had enough to get home, and back to work today. Figured, since the rains have been starting pretty consistently all week, I better go mid day, instead of after work.

This will be my first full tank of premium post-tune, so we'll see how it goes.

Do they all? I don't recall having that big of a tank on my 04. Could be wrong of course

Also, I'm jealous of your gas prices.

I'm pretty sure they do. My friend's 04 XUV does, and my dad's 04 Ascender EXT also has a 25G tank.

As for the gas prices, we're pretty lucky sometimes. I use that Gasbuddy app frequently though. Thought I found a steal at this particular station, but some dumbass put the price for Diesel in for premium, so I drove out of my way to go there. :hissyfit: At least I got out of the office for a bit.

Gave her a quick bath this morning, then hooked up the camper and set up camp at Michigan International Speedway for the Faster Horses Festival this weekend. Now headed downtown for J.Geils and Bon Jovi tonight!

I like the new badging in the front too, more subtle.

Also, what color are the corners on those lights? Do you have a link to them?

They are amber. But it doesnt look bad. They are just the....EAGLE EYES brand. But look much better than oem imo.
The badging changes every other week. Lol

I wanna get a set of those and see if i can rig a secondary halow with a red cathode instead of blue. Can't drive with em, but i think it'd look sick on my rig.

over a year long battle is OVER!!! :wootwoot::wootwoot::wootwoot::wootwoot::wootwoot::wootwoot::wootwoot::wootwoot:

I drove the beaSSt home from the dealership today with the new crate motor purring like a kitten... only time will tell to see if the war was won... gonna drive her 500 miles, then get an oil change on her and look for any metal in the oil...

im making a thread now with all the pix of the new goodies under the hood...

Çongrats on finally getting your truck back right. No wonder Gm is having trouble if it takes over a year to fix a motor problem. They should go back in house for the rebuilds or at least to a real company that knows how to rebuild a motor. They had to lose money changing your motor every few months . Do it right once works the best.

thx bro... doing it right the first time would've saved them at least $10,000... labor alone on all 4 motors topped over $8,000.. now add the cost of the reman'd motors and the crate motor... someone's probably losing their job :rotfl:

Glad to hear everything went well, I guess that means you'll be keeping the SS?

for now she stays... but any hiccup or lengthy stays at the dealer, shes gone... my brother is actually trying to talk me into getting a motorcycle.. he just bought a Harley Sportster, and my father has an Aero Shadow.. so they want me to join the family and go ridin... time will tell how things go... if I keep her, she will get turned into the trailer queen that I've always dreamed of, if she goes, well then I have some thinking to do lol...
