Got my new key fobs programmed in, fortunately that went easy. Just followed the directions. I can now lock and unlock from more than 6 feet away. I suspect the conductive rubber pad in them just gets so dirty it doesn't conduct well enough even after cleaning and a new battery.

I always heard that it HAS to be "cheese curds" and anything else is an abomination. For the most part the only way to get fries down here is either with cheese or chili haha.

And here's the link for the hood struts.

Redline Tuning Chevy Trail Blazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Ranier, Olds Bravada and Isuzu Ascender QuickLIFT System - Lifts and holds your hood without prop rod.

I bought the Plus ones because the mounting plates and rivets were powder coated black. And yea dmann you should only need a drill and a riveter.

I think i might pick them up as well...

If its surface rust you can hit it with a wire brush. What kind of corrosion are you seeing? Some can be an issue such as metal lines for fluid.
Do not want any corrosion on those.

Gave her a full detail inside out because this whole week is suppossed to be beautiful
Scratch x 2.0'd all the fine scratches (mostly around door handle area)
Used turtle wax pre wax cleaner
Cleaned it off with some detailer
A nice layer of megs ultimate liquid wax
Cleaned all the rims with rim cleaner
Tire shined with turtle wax ultra wet tire shine ( also used it on the running boards)
Armor all'd interior
Vacuumed
RainX'd all my windows
Greased up all my hinges
Cleaned wheel wells

The look on my face when i realized one of those products bleached and completely ruined a $60 shirt.... priceless...
I guess im going shopping for new t shirts :rotfl:

I also treated myself to a Rallys pulled pork sandwich and a pulled pork poutine :raspberry:

That looks friggin awesome. What finish is that on those rims?

I just got my GST check :raspberry: gunna go to a couple shops to see my options, my last resort is to go buy the gmc caps from the stealer
But you've never tried a poutine!?!?!? You dont know what you're missing.... Do they not have it in Hawaii?
You could always make it
-fries
-gravy
-mozzarella cheese
:rotfl:

Went to my buddys Mr. transmission and had the tranny fluid drained and a new filter put in. Also had the PS pump replaced again, the Napa pump was tooooo noisy, he put a ac delco in and it sounds okay. Also put another ac belt and a new tensioner on.

Hawaii poutine, I'd also also add ham, bacon and (maybe) pineapple. I love poutine....probably a couple times a month it's dinner for us!

I know its a little of topic but a beaver tail is a piece of fried dough (kinda like a funnel cake) dipped in cinnamon sugar and if you like chocolate sauce and sprinkles or candies
They have a place on the canadian side of the falls

Paint em first....

This. Paint them with high temp black paint, that way it won't rust later and look like shit lol. The hats are probably the most important part, but I sprayed the whole thing when I put in my D/S rotors.

Personally I'd still spray the firepath, if not you'll get 2 rings of rust one thin one at the very outer edge and one thicker one near the hat because the pad doesn't touch the whole surface. But it's cool the hats already came painted

Finally replaced my passenger side front rotor and pads (warranty replacement from Autozone). At the suggestions of many here I painted the rotor with high temp black. Then tore the driver side apart (replaced a couple weeks ago), cleaned up the rotor and painted it as well. I feel better now...

I'm planning on taking all my wheels off sometime soon and cleaning them inside out. What's the cleaner for that grime buildup on the inner rim of the wheels? Mine are the Chrome alloy 17" wheels.

Tried to get the safety inspection re-upped today but they gave me sh*t for having non-working windshield washers. Washers, not wipers. I just haven't followed through with the washer tank replacement install since the PCMofNC kit was designed for TBs which must have more room behind the headlamps than Envoys do because the pumps won't fit where the instructions say they need to be mounted. Looks like I'll be mounting the pumps somewhere else today and retry the inspection tomorrow. F*ck you, Hawaii. F*ck you.

The joys of Rural Ohio. No inspections here at all. Just pay your $50 for registration and call it good. Good luck tomorrow

I got my tank and pump (only installed the front washers pump, not the headlight washers or rear glass washer). You know how the bracket is kind of L shaped with 2 holes on one side of the bracket and 1 hole on the other side? I lined up the side with 1 hole with the corresponding spot, but I shifted the bracket out so the outer of the 2 holes lines up where the inner is supposed to line up. Kind of hard to explain, but I mounted it with only 2 bolts / zip ties.

I couldn't get it to line up nicely with the holes on the radiator support because of the headlight as well so I just shifted the bracket to make it work. Let me know if you want me to take a pic of what I'm talking about lol

It's funny too because when I saw the picture of the safety I was like wow that's weird, it looks exactly like Hawaii's safety. Then I saw your username and went no wonder haha

Yep, know what you're talking about and I might have to go that route. Truth be told I could care less if either of the washer pumps are installed so losing the rear wouldn't make me shed too many tears. But since I paid for the darn thing I guess I want to go forth with as near full replacement capability as possible.

BTW, I went to the dealer for the CASE relearn. My inability to bargain or be charismatic cost me $150, the standard diagnostics charge. FWIW, I'd recommend the loaner program vs. the core knowing what I know now.
