One all put back together, waiting for paint to dry on the other one

From what i just experienced (one oem and one aftermarket headlight) the oem was A LOT easier
It took me about an hour for the aftermarket and 15 mins for the oem.
The oem didnt have a whole bunch of dust particles like the aftermarket did either

I'll post a pic of them on the voy later when the silicone dries

Removed the chrome fender trim and side molding. Threw on a nicer set of stock wheels. Discovered that the front is already lifted, its just cranked down to ride stock....that explains the bouncy ride. This means the rear online needs blocks and shocks to clear 33s. I need to think about this before ordering anything. Not trying to yoyo this time around.

Hahahahaha must of been pretty bored to sit there and do that, especially when you could be out rippin it in the SS :rotfl: and you could of used the gas in your gas tank instead :raspberry:
How does the lenses hold up to the gas? I was thinking about redoing mine

Gas works just fine. I had plenty of time with the truck this weekend. It takes lots off elbow grease to take the vht off but worked like a charm. Now my hands smell like ass. I mean gas.

The solution of course is hydraulics. Up one time, down the next, by the flip of a switch.

Hmmm...you bring up a good point. Good thing I can edit my posts, and the posts of others

You'll need to send me money or beer :Lager Louts: to make me forget (OK other things are known to affect memory, but I haven't touched that stuff in a long long time)

I did the rear glass handle delete mod today. Looks a ton better! Also found a set of used Belltech lowering springs for cheap, so they are on there way. I believe they are a 2/3 or 2/4 drop.

Bought a automotive stethoscope to try to determine the sound the best I could at 10:30 ..90% its a top end noise im off tommorow going to drop the "skid" and get up close and personal with the bottom end.

Oil Pump came today and got some sweet mod ideas at Six Flags.

almost as much as the super clean wheel covers. Judging by the tassle and the window writing, im sure hoping there was a fartcan in back. Gotta give her something she can feel, in case the seat covers aren't soft enough

A tranny cooler doesn't void the warranty :raspberry:

I'll know how you feel here shortly... new motor has 100, 000 mile warranty on it.. if I keep her, we all know that warranty will be voided soon enough :rotfl:

drivers side rear brakes wore prematurely, metal to metal contact

New pads + 1 rotor

Happened to be a seized slide pin.

Hopefully the issue is solved

Decided against putting in a DieHard Platinum AGM battery from Sears and instead put in a Costco Kirkland 7 series. Cranks a lot better than my 3 yr old Optima red top so I'm happy for now
