Used
2-5/16x1" stainless steel carriage bolts
2-rubber washers
And 2-5/16 nuts
Total at home depot was $4.80 because SS bolts are $1 something each
Painted them black with VHT satin black caliper paint and clear coated with my favorite clearcoat ever, krylon triple thick glaze clearcoat

Used scratchX2.0 to get most if not all the scratches off the rear glass

It should clean up the back quite nicely...

Ill post some night shots around 9 pacific in the thread "HID Kits"
Voymom said:This is what I will be getting for my fogs, though I have more of a blue-ish hue to my headlights with the 6k.
I attempted to tighten my end link on the passenger side, but the stupid bolt is already rusted through. I used some PB blaster and will let it sit for a day or 2 before I attempt it again.

I've always liked HID fogs especially on black trucks but the hyper yellow went in on the first week and i like them too much to switch, plus it looks 100,000X better now that the fogs are my DRLs and perimeter lights :wootwoot:

dmanns67 said:Its good to have a long list. Gives you something to look forward to. My list is taking forever to complete. I am trying to avoid the empty wallet and using credit cards , but its hard to do.
I am going to hit up PCMofNC for their Memorial day sale. They are offering $20.00 off of their tunes. I think its only $139.00 if you mail-in your PCM. Luckily I will be on vacation next week, so while the truck is out of commission waiting on the PCM tune, I will be able to knock out a lot of items on my list. Mostly painting and I will have plenty of time to watch paint dry and drink some cold beers!
NinjuhhNutz said:I heard that!!! I'm gonna try and get a tune sometime soon, along with intake/exhaust...gotta get these funds together lol

Worry no more, ryda55555 has come up with a simple yet very effective fix
Shove a rolled up microfibre inside its that simple lool
On a more serious note, what you'll have to do is unscrew
3-7mm bolts on the bottom that hold onto the hinge and 4 phillips screws on top
Separate the plastic from the top, you'll have to close the lid a little to take it apart
Put a rolled up microfibre in or you could use foam, whatever puts a little bit of cushion and pressure against both inside and outside pieces
I used little pieces of rolled up electrical tape around the hinge holes so theres no metal/metal, plastic/metal, or plastic to plastic touching
Close everything back up and voila!! No more noise whatsoever!!
I also wrapped a layer of electrical tape around the stick part to make it close tighter so it stays closed and only opens when you use the handle like its supposed to be
