It would make sense to me because typically when things are covered in snow, they arent dusty and polleny. (I'm not familiar with canada's region, so if you arent in one of the ones that get a lot of snow, sorry for generalizing!)

Yep we have snow usually around November and well this year we still have snow!! So yea figured as much!! So cabin air filter should last me quite some time than I reckon lol!

Added some rear light guards... and like most things I've done to the truck.... I just don't like em. Looks more like they are better at getting ripped off going forward, than stopping stuff going back....

I'm gonna stick with doing the stereo and lighting. I gotta same some money for the boat this summer.

And I got a flat over the weekend, @#$@!#$ cable spare tire holder....

So now I gotta buy a few tires. Think 265/70R16's will fit without spacers?

Vacuumed the Silverado - FINALLY! (Insert theme from Rocky.) Rinsed the mats but didn't formally wash them.

DANG, I like her
And as for that hideous thing in the background, I am trying to flush that from my memory, but I don't think it'll work :frown:

On a side note: I used to have the tail light guards. And got 'em Rhino-Lined. But every time I closed my hatch they would scrape the paint. No matter how many times I adjusted 'em. So my hatch has seen quite a few coats of touch-up paint along the side there. Eventually got tired of all that and took 'em off.

Its going to come down to the wire Saturday morning. I can see pollen on the Silverado. Both still need a wax but that's not likely to happen before the meet. I want to take a day off of work but I know how much further I will be behind.

Washed the tb yesterday....was muddy for awhile...Damn now that I seen the paint color under decent sunlight I'm definitely liking it. Weather has been poor due to it being winter of course so I never got to see the paint color under nice clear sunlight till yesterday.

Looking good, man.

You have no idea how much I wish I had that hood lift kit installed when I was changing the serp belt last week. Kept elbowing the OEM hood prop while trying to loop the belt around the AC compressor pulley. It was also in my way when I was trying to fetch tools/parts that I dropped while replacing the idler pulley.

Changed the oil in the old gal today ('06 5.3 Silverado, supercharged, 140k miles) and checked all fluids. Going on a road trip in a couple weeks, gotta make sure she's in tip top shape.

Placi-Dipped my crossbar. I just did this to see if I like it, I think I do, so it'll get painted when I get a chance.

Used some white paint to color match my tow shackles. I won't be using them for a while... Since the Air Force has me running all over the place. No time to play. :sadcry: so I figured I could at least make them nice to look at ha.

So ya I did tell ya bout the new DDM but forgot to tell about the drive to the dealer :rotfl:, it's in another city 20 minutes down the hi way. So I'm on the hi way having bit of fun accelerating up to merging speed at WOT, then cruising along doing 75 then WOT up to 95 coasting to 75 n so on, cruising along like a Nascar champion and having fun. Then I get into town and stopped at a light beside a grand cherokee, the lanes ahead merge into one. I was first off the light so I WOT to get out in front and merge. All was good and acceleration was great, then when I let off the pedal to my surprise  the Envoy kept on pulling hard at WOT, I had to kick the pedal to free it up. It was jammed on the edge of the floor mat, the mat was just a bit to much to the left and allowed the pedal to get stuck on it. I moved the mat to the right but as you can see it still makes contact. So I'm gonna trim about a 1/4 inch off the bottom of the pedal. I wouldn't want this to happen to my wife when she's driving, she'd probably panic...

my stock number is obviously different (RT-QL-200-7A) but the length is ~ 20.5 and very close to the same if not THE same OD's !

I would guess the big difference would be in the lift strength for the shocks, and maybe the mounting brackets. Looking at the hood general size and shape, I would say they weigh about the same... Can you get a shot of the top and bottom brackets? I would assume the instructions would be about the same for where to mount.

If your wife does WOT, I am impressed... Cause I assume that the pedal got stuck when in the WOT position.

WOT = Wide Open Throttle not Woman On Top..

I doubt she'd actually hold it to the floor like I did but I know she likes to drive fast on the hi way because shes past my truck driving friend a few times, personalized plates are a dead give away. I told her about the pedal sticking and asked her what she'd do if it happened, she replied she would turn off the ignition and coast to the shoulder , I guess neutral would also be an option as well but probably not good for the motor . I google searched last night and this has happened before to other GMT owners. Not sure how I'm gonna cut it yet, don't wanna take it right out to do it but it's definitely getting trimmed. Seeing how easy this is too happen I'm surprised there are no threads here about it...

sure thing. Im in classes most of today but you can cjeck out their website and lool at their mounting brackets and instructions free. (redlinetuning. com) then just navigate to quick lifts

Looks like the hood brackets are different. The cavalier one is a 90 degree bend with the ball facing up, the TB looks like it's a flat piece. If it stops raining I'll see how stuff lines up. Maybe test fit the brackets with double sided tape and check for clearance without the shocks.
