Well, worked all day. On the way home I picked up a nice 4" nail at the right rear tire. Now where are those plugs...uploadfromtaptalk1433547022086.jpg

Had a unique job this morning. 2007 Sky with a peeling inside door handle. Dealer cost $360. The owner happened to drive a Cobalt and noticed that the inside handles appeared identical. So he bought a handle for a Cobalt ($40) and brought it to me to make it work. Since the "buckets" were different, I transferred the Cobalts handle to the Skys bucket. It was almost like it was meant to be! :wooot:

Well this is from yesterday but WTH I'll tell you guys and girls anyway.

Man a TB sure is a comfortable ride, we went for a 300 mile round trip yesterday to celebrate my mothers 90'th birthday. Set the CC @ 75 and just lay back in your seat, feels like you sitting home in your comfy sofa (couch).

I love my TB and I love the ride even more :wooot:

Outside of being swamped at work post-vacation, in talking to a couple coworkers and researching on the interwebz, I found out that I suffer from a form of sleep paralysis  And that I've had it for many years, just never knew what it was called. :yikes:

I have had it once, maybe twice. Freaky. Only lasted a few seconds but still unnerving.

It does freak me out, although what I have isn't quite as bad as what was described there. Have had it spring up on me every now and again since high school, but only when I have to get up for work the next day. :weird:

Don't feel like doing much work today. People who are asking for stuff, don't really know what they want, so no need in me running around in circles. Been harassing some of my coworkers about playing ball again, since they said they would when I came back from vacation. The list of excuses is long, but there may be some of the girls in the office coming out, and you all know men follow women... Bring women, and they will come... :rotfl:

Oil change at the Chevy Steelership. Roll into the bay and they try selling me on synthetic for $82.99...that defeats me coming here. :duh:

Then, they wanted to top my fluids and check tire pressure for $17. I told the guy, I could do it myself. :rotfl:

Now I'm in the fancy ass show room where the sales agent is trying to sell this poor guy OEM brakes for his truck. He explains how Delco isn't as good as OEM. $150 difference. You guys have no idea how bad I wanted to hop in that convo.

Anyways, here's a 2015 Silverado!!

You get free oil changes? Why else would you even go to a dealer....

I am going back through the insurance paperwork yet again cause the adjuster can not believe he missed paying for stuff.

Doing the work thing. Back to machining aluminum for some leak test seal holders. Working with that nasty steel makes me appreciate aluminum so much more

Went out and looked around to see if anything got damaged in the storm here yesterday. A rotten old pine tree finally fell but left it's smaller cousin standing next to it so I pushed it till it fell.
- then sometime either soon or this evening I'm gonna put the new radio in the mustang.

If you install it upside down we will actually be able to see the pics.

:raspberry: I think I got it figured out, two pics I posted today were in the correct orientation. Halfway done with it now, decided to take a break, humid out today and hot inside the mustang.

Uh, did they put 7 quarts in? That sounds awfully cheap coming from a dealership. I figure labor would be $20 or more. Or are you not including labor?

3 bucks a quart and free filter and free labor. Tough to beat. Never bought into syn oil, so I would go for that deal.

My headlights finally came in! Got them installed and they look very clean and even match my theme perfectly! For $93, I couldn't beat it. Especially with free bulbs!!

I also found out that the headlights on that were on there were 2002 OEMs. So here's to another 13 years!!!

Garth & Kyle here's my receipt for the oil change. It looks as if I got a discount...maybe it's because I have a Chevy and it's a Chevy dealership? :undecided:

Nice headlights. Time to upgrade the bulbs.

Have you checked your dipstick? Looks like they only put in 6qts per the invoice unless you received 1qt for free.

Another day at the plant. Ready for another full weekend off. We started a new production shift starting this Friday, looks like I will have every weekend off if all goes well.
