Day 1 of vacation. Got Brighthouse cable and internet hooked up today, turned in keys to property management company, returned Verizon equipment, made a few stops to get some odds and ends for the new place. Now, trying to catch up and see what you jokers been up to for the past couple days. :book: :coffee:

Doing the work thing, today is dragging. Tonight I'm thinking of taking apart my truck's interior panels to fix some rattles/squeaks and figure out what I need to do to mount new speakers in the rear doors.

Actually had a full weekend off. That has not happened since the middle of March.

Busy day at work. Entire plant lost power. Made for an awesome Monday. DVR time now.

Day 2 of my vacation. Tried to troubleshoot a seemingly dead ceiling fan. Bypassed the remote control module, still no dice. The supply lines have power, so I'm assuming the fan is spinning on that great big ceiling in the sky. Hopefully I can get it replaced without too much hassle.

Tracking some goodies. Ordered one of those plastic park assist blocks. Caught the front of the TB on one of the ribs of the garage door one time, and that was one time too many. Luckily the scratches buffed out, but man did it make one helluva noise in the process!

New TV should hopefully arrive tomorrow

I think I need to do something similar for my garage. The truck is so much bigger than the TB so it is a might tighter squeeze putting it in the garage.

It was too cold last night to take apart the doors on the truck so I might do that tonight instead. Going to buy a replacement dryer vent for the house also.

Making room for the 4/6 drop kit and new shoes. I'm still driving on a temporary license plate. No time to wait on this project.

Last night and into today I have been trying to find out info on the vette. The rpo sticker was missing from the car when we bought it. No problem since the build sheet is above the spare on the gas tank. Got it down in 1 piece after 30 years and 97k miles it was in great shape.... except that is not my vin number. Every thing is correct except the last digit and the 8 before the e should be a 6. So today I'm going to the dealer ship and having them look up both cars and I ordered the correct build sheet from the National corvette museum. My interest is great now.

Build sheet:

Edit: we've had the car for 7 years now. I only recently was interested in its history since it is special because of the black on black, which wasn't that popular as well as the 4 speed.

Right now I'm stalling for time waiting for the brown truck driving Santa to show with my drop kit. The rotors are cleaned and painted. I just finished undercoating the front section of frame.

Edit: Just got off the phone with the broker for the home's owner, she is approving me to do my own work on the place to get the master bath fixed up. So off to lowes for some goodies, then there will be some toilet, sink, and medicine cabinet goodness going on. :2thumbsup:

Day 4 of vacation. Still on the work sleep schedule, but was woken up at 5am, because the trash service for the apartments next door comes THAT early. :hissyfit:

Most everything is put away, so got around to doing another cleaning, mopped the floors, wiped things down, did some laundry, and made a grocery run.

Later tonight, having some company and watching some NBA playoffs.

Last day of the work week. Actually have a weekend to look forward to. Have some repairs/trouble shooting to do on the TB in the morning and hopefully taking the smoker out of the box and smoking some ribs later. More unpacking and house organizing.
