Work then over to a buddies house to help build some shelves for his wife. Might take a lil drinking to get that done right.

Wishing the weather would make up its mind

I know right. We got 5" of snow and temps were hovering around 0* two days ago. Saturday is supposed to be a high of 55* and sunny. I am not complaining though.

Taking my son and our troop to help out on an Eagle project for a boy in another troop. Planting 200 trees in a day use park near my house. I am looking forward to it! My son would be much better if this started at noon and not 8.
But I get to take boys in my newly fixed TB! Yay!

Locked in my cell for next 6 hours. Then gonna get the truck washed on the way home. It'll probably only be clean for a few minutes but it will feel good to get the salt off.

Checked out some mom and pop shops in Shepherdstown. Hit up lowes for some blocks and 2x10s for a project the wife wants to do

Spending some quality time with the wife. Playing with blocks and wood for a bookshelf she wants built.

I would like to find out who created Pinterest

Watching the weather forecast for this week so I don't leave her snow tires on any longer than I have to. Plus side, spring riding is a blast!

I've experienced one good thing out of Pinterest - someone used a cookie recipe they found on there. You know those cookies with the piece of chocolate like a Hershey's Kiss in the middle? It was like that but with Andes mints :yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

Just got back from church, now time to troll er-- patrol the forums a bit :rotfl:

resting today, drove over 1300 miles yesterday to pick up my daughter

my TB ran great, but the gas mileage suffered, so in a parking lot in Cedar Creek I disconnected the battery, waited a few minutes and then reconnected it. The return trip home my mpg's jumped up and I was getting well over 300 miles per tank

today I clean out the interior and then dinner later at my parent's

Well I am going to keep this piece of info here with the Nation. No need to add to my honey-do list :rotfl:

Needless to say we are about to head to Lowe's to get some more blocks and 2x10s because like usual she did not measure anything or really know what she wants. I did not see the project, but from hearing her describe it, I knew we were going to be 12 blocks and 1 2x10 short

Well after heading to Lowes twice, I think the new bookshelf actually came out looking pretty good. She is still on the fence about staining the wood. I think it would look better.

I bet she will wait and load it full of books then decide to stain it.

Everything looks rustic except the light tone of the wood. Staining it would be a great idea.

I agree, I just need to convince her of this. Maybe once it warms up more I can take them out and do it myself. A little surprise for her.

I'll be here all week...

I think it will look even better stained. Hopefully you can talk the Mrs into doing that before she decides to load it up.
