It supposed to be 19 below so I am staying in and staying warm.

It supposed to be low single digits, with a windchill down to -15 tonight. Im not use to that, and I start back on night shift so its going to be cold.

Saw a piece on the news about the garage door people being swamped with all the door repairs due to the cold weather.
Guess who's garage door spring snapped the next day....? Yep...just removed/ordered a spring

On a another note, I am looking forward to opening day for the Cincinnati Reds .

I've saying that for awhile now about my Jaguars :frown: but I'll stay positive about our possibilities next year lol. In the meantime I'm enjoying my Pacers:thumbsup:

At work after a 2+ hour ice covered commute.

10 percent of staff is here so real easy day as I am somehow the senior in the dept due to top 2 levels not making it in.

:undecided: Just think how much easier of a day it would be if you told everyone to go home, with pay since you're the acting top dog!!

I work from home pretty regularly. Today is one of those days. We're still trying to convince our boss that the reality is no one needs to actually work in the office. Trying to convince him to be more like Github.

IMO that type of situation only works with the right type of individuals and management and not every manger can effectively manage there subordinates remotely. There are two possibilities that can happen for remote employee. 1. They do very little work because there manager is not locally managing or 2. They work more hours, well above and beyond normal.

I told on of the higher ups that I was working from home one day later in the week and they looked at me like I was insane. He said how are you going to work on an aircraft from home, I just said in my sleep.

Pricing out a new fuel pressure regulator for the truck, truck smelled like straight up gas this morning. Looked at the FPR and whoa, it is very wet. Ive been smelling gas for a few weeks now but attributed it to a leaky exhaust manifold and the cold weather.

Doing actual work today. Got my replacement high beam solenoid from TRS just now, so will be doing some headlight work this evening. Hopefully get those fixed and back on the truck for a good long while, this weekend.

My new 250Amp High-out put Alternator showed up today, I'll be combining this with the new battery + big 4 wire upgrade + new inverter. Trailblazer is turning into a mess, got a dozen different projects going on at once, the most important being I need to finish rebuilding the front suspension. Now if I could just hammer down a new rear axle to swap in 4.56 gears.
