Nope, I don't like my crew, they're making it an un-enjoyable experience for me. I was already told by the shift lead that I was going to be kept on this shift and with this crew. So even when I get hired fully by them, i'm gonna look elsewhere for employment, unless I can convince him to put me on night shift. I like that crew, they're very friendly to me, unlike mine.

Just cruising around in the Cutlass today  Can't wait until I can afford to start slowely restoring it more.

That's funny, I use to work for the Clorox plant in Spring Hill, KS. They dealt with the Cat Litter, I also had to go thur the hoops with a temp company and eventually got hired thur the company. But after about a year and half of watching the line, I said enough, I'm to active of a person for this and become a Pipe Fitter installing Fire Sprinklers.

So yesterday while the Battery was disconnected for the Coolant System service, I figured it would be a great time to clean the Throttle Body on the TB...

What're you doing to it?
Good once over to check fluids n such, check lighting and re-aim headlights, lil wiring, seal up exhaust fully at flange, empty and reload with stuff for wheeling and camping at Interlake this weekend. Basic needs for a 500 mile trip with some dirt bashing in the middle.

Finally got all my grass mowed. It was one thing after another with mowers and then weather so I had been able to mow the front a couple of times but the side and back had not been touched yet this season. It was seriously almost knee high in places lol. But hey, it is cut right before it rained again (it is raining/storming right now).

Stopped by the tire shop this morning and ordered up some tires. Toyo Proxes STii 255-60-18, these are 30.05" vs my current Toyo Proxes STii 255-55-18 being 29". Stock tire 245-60-18 is 29.6". Looking forward to the bigger tire. Lol, I'll have to remember the Speedo will be out the other way now

Was going to change the oil in the Silverado but remembered my oil drain pan is full. Call me lazy but I don't really feel like driving out to Autozone right now just to dump my drain pan, plus it is cold and rainy today, so instead I think I'm just going to bum around instead and take care of that on Monday when the weather is nicer!

Was hoping to have time to install my vinyl kit, but of course the rain is rolling in again. Just relaxing on the deck with the dog until the rain starts.

Hung out with my son this morning. Walked around outside for a little while with him, since it was so nice out. Now I'm working the rest of the night.

Finally got around to wrapping a dual 8" none ported box I had laying around. Dropped 2 8" dual coil mb quarts wired up for 2 ohms and finally it's done.20160305_175042.jpg 20160516_185523.jpg 20160516_185640.jpg
I'm planning to try this amp at them to see how it does. I like the fact that this amp is a 2 channel none bridgable so it will push both subs nicely. We'll I hope anyway.

Off work today. Ran some errands this morning. Now just hanging out at home. Going to see my mechanic to put truck on lift later this evening. Getting a grinding sound when driving. Thinking it's the brake backing plates as it seems to sync with wheels the faster/slower I go. Easier to put it on his lift and look then mess around in my garage. Gonna change the oil, put on the caliper covers, check to make sure alignment is correct after adding new wheels, and figure out if I have a driver side blower module out, or if AC needs to be recharged. More maintenance stuff than anything.

Had to tear into the exhaust duct work for my dryer this morning. Heard some birds chirping and some scratching coming from the duct work. Opened up one of the elbows and found a damn nest with 3 baby birds and 2 adult birds. The two adult birds decided to fly around my laundry room until they hit exit  Added a screen to the exit side on the outside of the house to keep them out

Now back at work for the evening.

No more working for a couple of days. Gonna clean up the crib some, as I might have company this weekend. Gonna have some pizza in a bit, and crack open one of the bottles of vodka for happy hour, and even happy hour part 2, later on tonight. :tequila:

Took a half day off work to take apart the Trailblazer heap and got that about 1/2 done, went to the hardware store, went to the grocery store (my fridge was empty again), then after dinner I yanked my not-so-old leaking water heater and put the new one in . The piece of crap Whirlpool was only 5 years old. Replaced it with a Rheem.
