Doing some wiring to a new pioneer x1700s before I install it my friend of the family's 03 bmw x5. Also did the install bracket. I have alot of work to do tomorrow. I'm tearing out the factory headunit, speakers, amp and installing a bunch of goodies.

TGIF GMTN!! Living that Friday cube life, and hoping the day doesn't drag. Have had some billable work all week, but finished that up a couple hours ago, and now... Nothing.There's a woman in the cube next to me, it's her last day today, so a handful of us are going to her favorite pizza spot for lunch in about an hour. She told the CEO that I could handle any of her old requests for Excel assistance. Asked her to send me some of her old work so I could get an idea of what I was volunteered for. Nothing overly difficult, almost no formulas, and no macro work or any of that. Just tons of data for people with limited PC skills. Only catch is most of them are on the opposite side of the world. She's had to be on conference calls at 4am a number of times. No bueno.

Well I was in the middle of installing the family friends audio system in his bmw x5 and he got one of those calls where he had to leave. Smh. I got the 5 channel amp in and powered. I was able to run the remote wire and rca's to the head unit but I had to stop there unfortunately.
Before he left he hands me a big box of stuff and says "since I know I can't afford paying you what I know deserve for doing this for me here's partial payment. I wasn't aware of what it was until I opened it and to my surprise a few brand new car audio goodies.
It's to bad I have no use for any of the stuff since I already finished up the envoy audio upgrade. So I'll be putting this stuff up for sale so if any one is interested pm me.

Finally Friday! Ran a couple errands this morning, now at work for the evening. Found out when I came in that production cancelled their OT for the weekend. Good news for me, another weekend off. Since I took care of my list of items during the week, thinking I had to work this weekend, should be a nice relaxing weekend.

Busy day. Jv game this morning, headed from that to my parents' place to help put the new roof on the garage, then worked at my house on getting everything ready for the new fence going in next week. Grilled out after that now it's finally time to relax

Cube life for me as well. Dug up a bit more billable work, so writing some queries and reports to pass the time. Weather is kinda gloomy today, and is making me sleepy.

It certainly is nice and the interest rate they quoted her was impressive for being an 09. Benefit of local bank my family does a TON of business with. I just hoped the minivan would get us through for another year or two. Oh well. its only money.
Finally received my parts from Closetmaid to fix the shelf/close hanger rack that fell out of the wall Whoever installed the Closetmaid system did a half assed job and only used half of the supporting hardware/brackets that was needed Now it is supported with double the hardware/brackets needed.
At work now for the evening.
