Stonewall Jackson hammered the place way back when.
dmanns67 said:There is quite a few Civil War tourist attractions down there. They actually converted a small town into shopping stores, pubs, and restaurants right there on the river. Majority of the building are stone and all the roads are brick.
Playsinsnow said:I was a history double major in college and have read quite extensively of the area. Hopefully the tourists stay off the river... do you count as one?
dmanns67 said:No I am not a tourist as I live about 20 min away from there. I also do not get in that part of the Potomac. One of my buddies bought a house on the river with a dock. Me and the wife hang out there on the weekends. Drink, fish, and ride the jetski.
