What are you doing today?

Getting ready for work
 
I got the standard 8-4 but get 2.5 hours of commuting and generally at least a couple hours of "home" work. Like mowing the grass last night. I really want a concrete yard.
 
I work 6 to 6. Workin 7 days this week. ..44 hrs overtime. Yaaaahooo. I am getting tired and miss the family tho.
 
We won some kinda award at work, and one of the owners is pretty happy about it. End result, pizza and BEER for everyone (2 drink max), and we get to go home at 2:30! :wootwoot:
 
Perfect day for the kids to start playing football =D. Gonna go watch my nephew play 5 mini games of 20 minutes each. Sure my old team will own the giants but whatever lol
 
60 year anniversary party for my grandparents. Next year it will be 60 for the other grandparents too. Both still drive. If I make it half as long as that, I'll consider myself lucky.

Gunna go put some lucas fuel injector cleaner in and go for a ride. Also might get myself lunch
 
Today I'm gonna be going to the Kitchener Bluesfest, here's the lineup this year 2013 Lineup | Kitchener Blues Festival, will be a good time. There are 3 outside stages and the 12 Bar Blues is a live band in each of the 12 bars around downtown. Lots of options here's todays lineup http://www.kitchenerbluesfestival.com/2013-schedule/saturday-august-10-2013 The weather is great and the Beers n BBQ's will be nice too!

My friend has a VIP pass, he hangs out with Shawn Kellerman, Kim Wilson (Fabulous Thunderbirds) and Gordie (Big Sugar), all local boys and they were all in his back yard yesterday having a cold beer. I had to work and missed out on the get together :frown:. Here's a you tube of each of them. You gotta check out Kellerman on the guitar, he's amazing.

Also at his place was Douglas Watson (Daddy Long Legs), David Clayton Thomas (Blood sweat and Tears). Suppose to be a few more get togethers this weekend between sets so I hope I'm at the right place at the right time :biggrin:

Just found this guy on LS1tech and he swapped his envoys 5.3 LM7 to a 6.0 LQ4 and said it was fairly easy
My question is.. Couldnt he just of swapped the LQ9 and get the 345hp and 380 lb/ft instead of the 300hp and 360ft/tq?
Because i dont see why you would spend money on a engine swap that increases 5hp and 25lb/ft when you could of done a supercharger/turbo, or a cam for a couple thousand less

Playing big boss at work. The executive chef is at a wedding so I've been in charge of the kitchen for yesterdays and todays parties. Oh joy, much better than being up north!
 
Mostly chillin. Checked out the new Harbor freight that opened about 15 minutes away from here. Picked up a recovery strap and a new multimeter. :cool:
 
mowed front, side, and back yards

removed yard waste and clippings to parents house

washed both vehicles

tried to straighten garage up some more

taking the family to the county fair in a few
 
oh yeah, convinced wife i need new wheels/tires to go along with susp & body lift i plan on ordering

she said, "sure babe, its your truck"




(its gonna be sweet)
 
I still have one more. Premium doesn't pay for itself!

Ahhhh off today and tomorrow. Then work wed and thurs and off for a long weekend.
