Woke up from a nice nap, just in time to see the Bucs snatch defeat from the jaws of victory :hopeless: Now for some Pats/Packers action, and some snacking.

Back in the cube this morning. Not setting my alarm clock for a week was GREAT. Now I have my project on my computer staring at me, and I can't remember what the hell I was trying to do with it!! :duh:

I've been slacking.

Thursday- We didn't have Thanksgiving till Friday, so I spent the day wrenching on cars, and cleaning the house for Friday.

Friday- Went Black Friday shopping with the Ol'Lady. We stood in line at Menards for about two hours. I looked a the wife and said "You know what the difference is between us and the people who are just getting in the back of the line?" She said "We'll get all the good deals?" Me- " Nope, difference is they will be walking in the door 45 seconds after us, and they aren't frozen"

She didn't think it was funny. I did :rotfl:

Then We had Thanksgiving dinner.

Saturday- Went Ice fishing. Watched a bunch of idiots drive their car across the lake with only 7" of ice. I waited for natural selection to kick in, but it was not their time.
We then loaded the ice house on the trailer. While loading it I tried to step up on the trailer all to find out the hard way that my foot was on ice. Managed to bang my knee off of the side and body slam myself onto the trailer. Figured that was someone getting back to me about the natural selection joke I had made earlier in the day.

Sunday- Stayed home, iced the knee, and watched football.

Now I'm back at work, with a sore knee.

In the cube, have to replace a faucet later. No water in the house without the laundry tub faucet running. Found out she was still in the shower when I shut it off. Oops.

Back to the grind at work. Surprisingly only one voicemail since Wednesday last week. I was expecting several of them since we were off on Friday but I guess not! Nice.

My sulfur filter arrived also, so hopefully I can get that installed tonight. Tapcons to stone? Don't know...

Rounded up a couple guys at work to play some hoops after quitting time. Had quite a bit of rust after not playing for 2 weeks. Winning 3 out of 4 games of 21 did help though

Now sitting comfortably on the couch, watching Monday Night Countdown, and wondering if I really wanna watch this game, or would rather clear the DVR a bit instead. :undecided:

Started the day out with coffee then we decided to go to Senoia Ga to "The Woodebury Shop" which is a walking dead store and memorabilia, then we went and bought a real Christmas tree which I have never had before, then I got called in to work. So here I am working a 12 hour shift for double time.

I'm not sure If I am glad or sad about working :rotfl:

I went to The Woodbury Shop last year, they are really cashing in. $30 for a dang tee.

Worked on some projects today, made dinner, blah blah.

If you wanted to give us your work number, we could leave some voicemail for you on your next mini-vacation.

They are definitely not cheap, we mostly went just to check it out, and I did buy my Lady a t-shirt for *my birthday lol

I rewired all of those buildings directly across the street from The woodbury Shop about 7 years ago, i know the guy that owns all of those buildings.

Spent around $300 at the store getting a new kitchen sink, plumbing supplies for my filter, towel racks (the previous owner took all the towel racks off the walls :blinkhuh:), and several other bits and bobs for around the house. Dang that stuff adds up quickly. Faucets are also ridiculously expensive.

I did get the filter housing bracket bolted to the wall, but most of the parts I bought to plumb it in ended up being wrong for what I ended up doing. Oh well, cheaper and better to do it this way I think. Back to the store tomorrow to return stuff and get other stuff.

Oh, also caught mouse #4 in the basement only 10 min after setting the trap.

Being woken up by some fat ass racoon that decided it was a phenomenal idea to tear up the carpeting outside my 2nd floor bedroom balcony, and start chewing on the plywood beneath it. When I opened the blinds and turned the porch light on, he turned around  and looked at me like I was the one that was

He didn't run away until I opened the sliding door. All I had handy was a can of wasp nest spray, so got the wood nice and wet with that. Sure, by all means, come back and have another taste, I dare you! :satan:

Back to :Zzzz: for me.

Ditto, and today is going to suck.

The raccoon came back about 45 minutes later and was at it again, on the corner of one of the railing posts. :hopeless: It seemed like he was trying to be sneaky, as he was laying flat on his belly this time, instead of sitting up like the first time. When I opened the door, he climbed into the rain gutter, and hid behind the post. When he got a face full of bug spray, he tried to run over to the neighbors balcony, but missed his jump from my gutter to theirs and fell. Heard him land in some wet leaves, and scurry off, but by now I was paranoid and agitated, and didn't sleep worth a damn.

Get up this morning, tired as hell and head to the closet. Pick out a red and black shirt and toss it on the bed. When I get ready to put it on, I notice some white thread looking stuff at the bottom. As I touch one, it sticks to my fingers, so I open up the shirt for a closer look. A damn spider was in there weaving a web.

Are you kidding me right now? Squashed his ass, and on with my day.

If I find out any of you called PETA on me...
