wasted most of the day looking for a sterio installer who doesn't want my left nut to install a sterio and one amp in my TB. Gawd, who knew it'd be this hard to find an installer in Toronto! Anyone wanna make some beer and/or smoke money lol?!

Mostly lazyness with a splish splash of inexperience with installing the GMOS chime and DVD retention module. I did start prepping the sub and 6X9 boxes and wiring the subs and 6X9's to the amps yesterday tho. I used to install my own stereo equip but it was always on older rigs. Where you could just rip out the factory deck and chop off the plug, splice in the wires from the deck et vola! I may end up doing it myself tho, just because I enjoy my left nut too much to give it to an installer for something that I don't think is too hard. Seriously, one quote from Future Shop was almost $600 for one amp, the deck and the GMOS unit!! Is that not too much, or am I too cheap??

Yesterday the wife and I potentially test drove her new vehicle. Its the Rubicon 10th Anniversary model. The only thing she did not like is the red leather seats. Might be the deal breaker. Lol, women.

If you have done installs before, and you're comfortable splicing wire, then I think you are in good shape to do the install yourself. :twocents:

Very proud of this milestone, and hope we can serve as an example to y'all.

I married the love of my life - Kae - 40 years ago today. Proof that geeks can get lucky. Six weeks out of college. Kae graduated a couple of years before me, so she knew how to live on her own. For that six weeks in our new apartment before she moved in (those were the times, you know) I was the loneliest guy on the planet.

We're going to see Bill Cosby tonight, and have a very fancy dinner with friends on Wednesday. Because Kae owns a quilting shop, we have to defer going anywhere out of town until she can take time away from the shop.

Note the denomination of the RSVP envelope stamp.

Wow, that wallboard paneling brings back memories. And the Gremlin.

Congrats geek, you deserve it ;-)

That's ridiculous. I'd do it for some pizza and beer if you lived around here. It's really not hard though

Exactly what i told him, but instead of chopping off just connect the gmos to the factory plugs and the wires that you plan to chop off is on the other side of the gmos unit, so technically they do it for you and you just go along with connecting the wires
I think the new gmos-14 has an auxillary 3.5mm cable too
He's just overwhelming himself :raspberry:

Insult offensive lowlife BEHAVIOR and call them out for that. Not the culture, religion, clothing, language, etc.

Now think about what your neighbors are saying on THEIR forums about somebody making unnecessary noise with the 2-stroke?

Test drove the chevy sonic with the 1.4 turbo today. My sister is thinking about getting one. Not bad, enough room for me (I'm tall) and someone in the backseat as well. Zippy enough for me to be comfortable with it, obviously it doesnt move like my 5.3 does, but it wasnt bad. Also bought an e cigarette today. I like it!

I think its awesome, other than the price tag . If we buy it she wants the dealer to swap out the seats with some black leather seats . Whatever it takes to make a sale I guess.

I wish GIS sites were more standardized. Every freaking county is different and takes a new learning curve. So today i get to try and figure how to procure the info I need from yet another one.
