Spent the day looking for a new conceal carry...I have a hard time since I am so picky and have such little hands and I hate wearing frumpy clothes to conceal. After 4 hours and some research I came home with this...

A 50 pound purse :raspberry:

On a serious note, this is my first conceal carry gun. I had not been able to find anything I liked until I tried the PF9. I do like the XD's A LOT, both the XDS and the XD9 9mm, however they are too bulky for me to conceal without frumpy clothes or a little work on wardrobe. I could carry it if I really wanted too since Iowa does allow open carry. I will eventually get me an XD, but I really, really like the PF9 a lot, so I chose it over the XDS/XD9 for now.

I am very petite at just 4'9 so I'm smaller than the average female.

Going to put a bid on a house. Mine is sold as long as the inspector does not find anything major and the buyers do not back out. If all goes well I hope to be closing on both houses Aug 8th.:woohoo::dance:

Wow. I was thinking no more than 40-50k for that price. The owner definitely drove the shit out of the SS. Was it completely stock? Supercharger or anything?

Were you looking to buy or just test drive?

I just wanted to take it for a spin

yea, i thought the price seemed a bit steep for the miles as well.

Does he have a kid on the way? Just bought late last year, throws an LS3 in, now wants to drop it? That or gas is biting him. Still hard to find a 500hp car for $18k. Think I'll shoot him an email, dead trade for '05 and $10k? I'd start at 8...

I just got in I don't know why you old guys are up so early that SS is worth 18k LS3 with oil starvation fixed the hot cam is OK its a GM part He doesn't list header brand if they are Stainless Works that's another grand right there BUT I see nothing about the tranny.

OLD? I'm still up, lol. I was waiting to hear what some SS guys thought about tranny/diff etc.

Diff should be fine it's actually a strong part in the SS the tranny is so hit/miss there are stroker motors with stock transmissions behind them still alive. Or there is mine mostly stock and I've killed 2.

Prob says a little bit about driving style. I would be in your category. Think he feels a slip or knows somethings going? Who takes it easy with an LS3? I am curious bc for a $10k+ motor, you think he would have mentioned something about the break-in period with it being installed recently? I bet he drove it to the hills and back in no time every day. I would.

The tranny would be the only issue if its stock. You could drive it like a granny but that's not what the SS was built for.
