Tonight, I'm being disappointed by Shark Week. Seems like every year these 'documentaries' get more fictional and sensational. I guess they wanted to compete with Shark-nado... :hopeless:
I used to watch it when Mike Rowe hosted, but yes now it's getting stupid...

I've been helping my dad with the basement bathroom rebuild... what a project. Nothing is where it should be, nothing is square, and heck even when you cut something square the end result is a trapezoid anyway

The documentaries are getting goofy, but I have to say the shark cam (submarine) is interesting how it can follow the great whites. Even funny how the sharks are attacking it, maybe should paint it with a camouflage pattern.

Love the background on the cd player may have to steal it

Didn't forget about this Ryan, just couldn't manage to find the final file I made. :compu-punch:

Did track down my first modified jpeg though, erased most of the tire tracks, and after that was when I decided to change the background from white to black, so I wouldn't have to try getting in between all the lettering to clean up the rest of it. This should be a good starting point for anybody else who wants to rep GMTN on their head unit.

Uploading here seems to auto-resize the pic. :duh: Original resolution is 1825 x 1237, if anybody wants/needs that one, shoot me an email.

Working. Just got a call about my refinancing of the house. I'll be able to roll in all my credit card debt, get rid of the PMI, and still be paying $200 less a month. Can't wait.

Work is slow as all hell today. I've even run out of busy work to do, so now I'm fighting with my mod bug. :Boxin:

Just another day at the office for Capote gents  Took our M109A6 Paladin out for a road test today, part of maintenance... don't get me started on Army "maintenance" As you can see the travel lock, that is supposed to hold the tube in place during travel decided to be a chode. These howitzers are ALWAYS breaking, especially out in the field.
LOWER VOLUME! you've been warned

Just go into money-saving mode for something. That's what I did, stashing away cash for the house. Seems to help some.

Find something expensive you want to buy and save money for it

It's wonderful once the mods are done, and the only spending you're doing, is time as you admire your work, and not your hard earned cash!! :raspberry:

(un)fortunately, I am quite familiar with that tactic. Had to do it to pay off the TB 2 years early, and again recently to wipe out my student loans. Gonna take me a while to save up to buy a house now since funds have been mostly tapped out.

Yeah, I did that to pay off my TB, so then I could save and buy my Camaro a few years ago. Then I went into save mode to pay off my loans last December. Now I'm saving money for the house, and then it will be to save money up to pay for upgrades to the house, and replace the TB within the next couple years... Poor Camaro still is getting neglected lol. Too many projects, never enough money!

Called our family camping trip short due yo bad weather and the calling for more and the fact had to put up with some DUMB ASSES who did not understand that the entire campground does not need to know their life story and the repeated fact that the guy felt he should have killed 4 people in his life ( booze talking) and the whinning because he has had a tough life. Really get over it and suck it up. The wife spoke loudly to them that their volume was loud and the excess swearing was not needed . They took offence to that and called the park ranger who than asked them what happened than almost laughed at them for being so ignorant of others. What dumb asses they were.

Considering I get paid either later today or tomorrow that could be a bad idea lol....though on the flipside I need something to get my mind off of being backstabbed....though thankfully it wasn't in the literal sense this time lol

Dealing with Ford issues. The odometer gears like to strip out so I fixed that and also threw in some LEDs. uploadfromtaptalk1407964043849.jpg this is it half torn apart. Forgot to take a picture before I stuck the speed/rpm section back in.
uploadfromtaptalk1407964109772.jpg LEDs  Once again, forgot to take a pic before I put them in.

I don't like fords at all but I needed a car and got it cheap from my bro, only thing that I like about it is that I have LEDs in all of the bulbs except the radio/hvca now and HIDs. Lol.

Was thinking about getting a Ford Interceptor as a project car  only because you can usually get one for really cheap. Other than that, i'm on the same page as you Ford's suck. My dad used to own a Taurus that I drove too. Was such garbage. Tranny was slipping and engine finally crapped out on us our way back from a trip with my bud.

I've got a 98 Mustang lol. It's not the coolest ride for a large guy but it gets good gas mileage (mpg is low 20's with the v6) and is decently reliable still even at 170k miles. The transmission shudders HARD in the top of third and bottom of fourth if you're just calmly cruising. Other than that it's fine.

Btw, the TB is my moms, no modding is allowed :sadcry:

Sucks you can't mod the TB  Only Ford I had a good time with was the F-150 Lariat that I rented one time for vacation. Only owned my 1997 Yukon back then, but didn't trust it for a long trip so I rented the F-150 instead. Had a lot of Giddyup lol

People suck sometimes. Hopefully things blow over and it's smooth sailing soon. My mod bug has been cranky, and bugging me a lot lately. He needs to go somewhere and sit on somebody else's shoulder while they surf the net. :hopeless:
