The County Clerk of Courts has hired me and i will be starting July 14th
While the pay isnt the greatest (i still have to work at my current employer, but strictly part time (2-3 days a week tops) until i can move through the rankings), i will have the benefits that I've always dreamed of. I get 4 weeks vacation, floating holidays (2 buildings are open tues-sat, so for the holidays that fall on monday's, i get as a floating day which can add up to another weeks vacation since there are 5 holidays on Mondays where federal buildings are closed), paid sick leave, personal days, matched 401k, healthcare that is super CHEEEEAP for a single person, they have a union, and, what i feel is the most important to me, a pension!!! I will be paying into the states retirement fund. I know for most of you, you're probably sitting there like "yea those are the basics for me
